Re: The athletics/running thread
Aye that's the hope. Will be nothing more than watching rugby, drinking and putting the world to rights with an old pal. It's not improving and probably a tad more painful actually with movement as i've had to compensate on the other leg, so i reckon it's a v small tear or something equally annoying...

Re: Wine
I don't know wine.
But I had this last night (copied and pasted from website)
'M' GRAND MALBEC - IGP PAYS D'OC, FRANCE
£25 a bottle. Was good. Tasted rather fruity rather than bitter which I get from a lot of wines. I wasn't paying.

Re: The athletics/running thread
quite an exercisey weekend for me. 90 mins football then a 6k run. Lovely.
However, i seem to have pinged the top of my quad. Just a sharp pain if i move it too much, so with kneeling, running etc. Annoying. Hopefully a bit of rest and a weekend on the ale in Devon will do the trick.

Re: Today I'm neither Angry nor Happy about....
I can't escape the feeling that I'm being slowly phased out at work. On the one side it's understandable as I'm leaving in Jan, and maybe I should even be happy as it allows me more time to come up with ideas or doss. It's annoying however as it's got to the point where I'm not being invited or even...

This morning I was taken out by a freelancer (probably the first time in history a freelancer has taken his editor out) for breakfast at The Delaunay - a restaurant/hotel thing in theatreland, near the savoy etc. This was the breakfast menu http://thedelaunay.assets.d3r.com/pdfs/original/351-delauna...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Started watching that Peaky Blinders yesterday. Rather enjoyable. Not convinced by the music. Or Cillian Murphy's accent. And Sam Neill clearly watched a lot of Ian Paisley. And Churchill looks like tubes from Soccer AM. Still, i'm carrying on. series 2 was better than series 1, I think... particul...
