I got the job, but still have nightmares about the atrocity of an article I faced for the second half of that test. I just stared at it for ...

Done a lot too and similarly to you post shortlisting usually you have someone in mind out of the group you are interviewing. However, I always, always go on gut feel. I know it sounds ridiculous - I’m an evidenced based person but for me interviews you go with what your gut tells you about someone...

Is the bond holders meeting this week? Anyone? If it is on it should be great craic. I’m guessing the manager wouldn’t show. Friday night, and I believe SB and IE will be there, amongst others. Cheers bud. Let’s see what happens on Tuesday, eh? If we lose that one it will be an absolute bloodbath o...

Cambridge have five academy lads on the bench, so could be worse.

Passing the trophy sideways down a line of static players, reminiscent of the performances that win it for us.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 9:00 pmA sell out crowd. Re: High Noon Cover up. V Rotherham away Sat 11th Jan 12-30.
I think it was the former Bayern manager who basically said "60% of being a good manager is not being a dick." You can understand why so many ex-footballers find it tricky. You need to be a bit of a dick though. How many top managers aren’t? I think most of it is about being a dick that people want...

I think just having someone who has the ability to actually manage individuals would be a good start. If I was playing devil's advocate I may even say SB has been relying on people to tell her that x or y is a good football coach, etc, and priotising that over the traits leaders in senior positions ...
