Collins scored 8 in 19 after joining us in January last season….so no idea really how that’s comparable. Also given your judgement on Evatt - who you now describe as creating a ‘dysfunctional team and environment’ it might be best not to dismiss other opinions as tripe. Given you’ve not really show...

On another note is prime Drogba fit for the weekend ?
Getting bored of saying that Etete is not prime Drogba, that "prime Drogba" was a joky reference to the sort of player we can't afford
Please stop ruining the popular narrative will you with your boring facts.....

Questioning what we’ve spent on players and accepting that some haven’t really worked out for the fees paid is not toxic. No, it's not. People saying they want Santos' injury to be career ending and wishing it had been Vic, rather than the Wrexham lad, in a car crash is. Quite. Toxic and quite fran...

Re: The cup that cheers.. E.F.L Away to Wrexham Tues Feb 11th 7-30.

To be fair, I seem to recall Collins taking some time to bed in to the team after we signed him - and now look at him and his contributions to the team. Give these guys time and, just maybe, the benefit of the doubt can we? When we were linked with McAtee and Randall most on here (and off here) were...

Re: Contract expiry

Don't see why that should be the case though. On him pomp he's superb. We don't know how much his relationship with IE was strained, especially with taking the captaincy off him, and now he has a new manager who he has essentially a clean slate with (& who managed against Santos when he was perhaps ...

Re: "...and you can shove Lindum away up your Colonia!" - Lincoln away (EFL Trophy) Tuesday 14th Jan 2025 7pm

Football is about memories. Wembley was a pretty good one for most folk. Sure, promotion would have been even better, but you take the good days whilst you can. If recent history has taught us anything, it should be this. Again. This. I'd even argue that - as a memory - Wembley trumps promotion (be...

After winning that final the rest of our league results were WDWDWLWW - 2.12PPG, equivalent to 97pts over the season. If we were dining out on it, it was fine dining. I will readily agree that that Wembley win was the high point of Evatt's rein. It was also one of the best days of my life, and I've...

Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window

Just out of interest, and a genuine question, but why is there such sentiment that Markham's transfers are poor?? Without thinking too hard about it, but looking at recent sides we've put out, I presume he was heavily involved in the signings of Southwold, Murphy, Toal, Forrester, Schon, JDC, Collin...

Who on earth decided Etete - a guy who literally doesn't score - would be a good signing? Who scouted him and who sanctioned it? Don't even bother mate. Whoever it is, apparently they're above criticism because they're doing a really good job, as evidenced by all our brilliant players and how good ...

What the actual feck. Who the feck picks these donkey fecking signings, Markham has to go. Absolutely brilliant!! Who can we blame for this? Evatt? Nope, gone already. Santos? Oh, injured and not playing. JDC? Off the pitch.... Damn. Need to think of someone else quick. That's it, Markham out! Mark...

.... but I do think he's had a rough ride from some fans. This. Very much. Despite the 'bok being a more jolly place than recently last night, there were still many audible comments about Sheehan being soft (despite being kicked from pillar to post, and putting himself in the positions to be kicked...

Re: Giving Cobblers the boot? Home to Northampton Tues, 28th Jan 19-45

Agree. Think Murphy won every aerial duel and looked OK on the ball. Forrester was again very solid and a couple of (risky!) incidents where nifty footwork got him out of trouble. Johnston showing what he's capable of too - I think he flung himself of 2 or 3 shots to block on the edge of the box.....

Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window

Perhaps the Cardiff lad could do that but do it better than Vic, because let's be honest it wouldn't be hard to be better than Vic - he was shocking with the ball last night, really bad. We must see things from different perspectives, Bertie. Vic was all over the pitch at times. He used his pace in...

Second half of yesterday only reiterated for me that the interview should have an initial one question stage. Exactly how many is the right number of defenders? 5 - thank you for your time. 3 - sure sure, but really you mean.. 5? Yeah thought so, thank you for coming in. 4 - bingo, let's move on to...

But looks like Markham’s conveyor belt of failures will continue. Pretty sure the massive unit from Cardiff was there last night. Jesus christ - you got what you wanted in Evatt out, just chill will you..... There is no conveyor belt of failures - or none more than expected at any club - transfer b...

Predictably, Wembley with the family for me too. Perfect day all round, and having my lad witness service stations the length of the M6 filled with Bolton fans was an absolute pleasure. For me also was the run of 8(?) clean sheets we strung together. Felt like not even prime City could break our def...

Re: Who's the Rioch to Evatt's Neal?

And herein lies the problem. All that clamour for Evatt to go (correctly), and already we're panicking at the prospect of a couple of potential replacements.......... I hope we get someone progressive and proven in, but can we accept that we can't have it all ways. We can't be desperate for Evatt to...
