Did you go to the bits that have history or the sunny beach places? Nabq bay, Sharm El Sheikh. big all inclusive job, scuba and snorkelli...

Still, winning in places like Bury is good news.... Was I right in hearing there was a big backlash to the proposed congestion charge or road tolls or whatever the hell they're calling back door car tax? If so this was the best part of the night, hopefully a sign that the driver is now fighting bac...

...and C) Chelsea were far the better team on this occasion? I wouldn't say far better, but I have said they deserved it. Over the 180 minutes of normal time we were the better side, but they were better when it came down to the crunch in extra time, and so they progress. It's just one of those thi...

It's actually a real shame he'll be remembered as a cheat and not a brilliant footballer. He does the Davies job only scores loads with it. If Gerrard had scored his first last night the press'd be wanking themselves over it. It really was an incredible strike, when you see the angle from behind th...

to be honest i think that the linesman got it right disallowing the goal as Drogba was stood right in font of Riena , if it had stood and Chelsea won the game based on that decision , could you imagine the uproar!! Liverpool should definatly of had a penalty as well but Chelsea deserved it on the n...

What was the Spanish clown doing taking off Torres and not bringing on a striker? Babel is a striker, and pacy too, but he's no Torres. Benitez claims Torres had hamstring trouble, but it didn't seem like it... Um yes but if Torres had to go off, anyone with a brain would have Crouch on straight aw...

Absolute farce - give him less than a season to turn it around and then sack him. Shinawatra obviously doesn't know how shite City were last year and how massive a task it is to turn them into European qualifiers (or thereabouts). Sven's a top manager and has done a great job for me, if Benitez wer...

I'd like to punch the following just for starters....... Nick Grimshaw (T4 & Radio1 presenter) – utter tool. Clearly foisted into the celebrity spotlight for no other reason than he happens to hit three core demographics that suit the cultural zeitgeist amongst Islington TV execs – a bit sort of in...

Because he's been superb for 35 league games, not 5 Aye, that's because he's played thirty-five league games and not five. :| In that case I'll put Bojinov in my team too, he's good! And what about Gary Neville? He might play a couple of games Seriously though, it's not about talent as such, it's a...

Why do so many prefer James over our own Ahi Al-Habsi, even with a defence of your choice in front of him? Because he's been superb for 35 league games, not 5 Aye, that's because he's played thirty-five league games and not five. :| In that case I'll put Bojinov in my team too, he's good! And what ...

Much more erudite response there, Mummy. I'm at ease now. I recall you mounting several articulate and passionate defences of Thatcher. Same deal, perhaps. Where I'm not at ease is that, to appease the Republican right wing (the one that thinks McCain is a pinko pussy), it's quite likely that they'...

Didnt understand a word of that. Who's winning? Still Obama, but it is getting tighter since Pennsylvania. Mummy's wish for another Republican president is incomprehensible. Being of a conservative disposition is fine, but the US (and the world) desperately need a change. Why? Increasing US Poverty...

So... a couple of months have trundled by... and I've started to follow things more closely..... it is now a case of Hillary hanging on, but with Obama unlikely to be able to put her away until June at the earliest. I really feel that there are so few swing voters (even fewer than normal, as Americ...
