Re: Burnley vs Bolton
To me, looking at the teams in the Premiergreed and those in the Second div...sorry, Championship (how the leagues are named is farcical) the Second looks a darned tougher prospect. Sure, the Manures, Citeh's and Chelskies are in the Greedleague, but which of the following would present an easier ga...

Re: Bury Rangers
I've just gone onto the Bury forum mannyroadend to see what they think of it. Their homepage has a news section with the top story "Oh happy day!" and a picture of a still from SSN zoomed onto the words BOLTON RELEGATED. Wrong forum! You need to be signed into the official one on their websit...

Re: Welcome to the championship
Phil Gartside, I bet you are still in favour of the Premier League closed shop now aren't you? Gartside should never, ever have made such a statement, and it's no wonder fans of lower league clubs are having a quiet chuckle, and understandable too. Many love the idea of "smaller" clubs, Wigan, Bolt...

Ta again. Me in a Manure top??? Go wash your mouth out with soapMar wrote:Yes. The ticket office is adjacent to the club shop and it leads into it. Queues aren't horrendous thankfully so you should have no trouble. Just don't come with a United top on or something like that and you'll be fine.

What happens @ The Reebok if you are a neutral and just want to get a game in on a nice day?
Can you just turn up before kick-off, get a ticket from a window or something? Where could I sit?

Re: Wiggin game
I'd like to know if anyone thinks that the international break has been good for Bolton? It must feel like a brand new season's starting today, with a run of "easier" - let's say more manageable fixtures to come?

Friday night footy for a Fiver
If you don't mind the trek down to Gigg... and you're a Bolton season-ticket holder! http://www.buryfc.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10422~1965701,00.html It's Bury v Shrewsbury. 7.45, and the social club (£1 entrance - I think) will be open before and after the game for a pint or seven. If Shrewsbury pl...

Umpiring a fair amount of hockey, we have one great rule that footy doesn't have. If you see an incident, but there is "advantage" - in other words you can allow play to go on and see what happens - it gives your hard-drive of a brain (mine was corrupt years ago) a chance to ascertain whether or not...
