Re: Sunderland Away

I honestly wouldn't like to predict this one, anything could happen. I'm surprised at the general confidence in the Bolton camp though , The SOL under MON has been no push over for better than you ( no disrespect intended) . Well Marxy, you're in the Bolton Camp, so you have to expect COME ON YOU W...

Official site has confirmed that tickets will be available to pay on the day. Decent prices too. http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/AwayTicketInformation/0,,1004~2749574,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Think we are only looking at about 35K at present . Re: Sunderland Away

I have hope now. It is more frightening than despair. My cousin is a mackem fan and he thinks despite recent results they're not playing too badly. We'll be doing well to win. :( Hopefully SKD hasn't finished his renaissance. Were not playing badly, but we have had bad games where nothing passed ov...

Re: Sunderland Away

Hello Mad marx. Nice to see you back for our annual north-east/north-west ding dong. Aye, we're in a bit of a sticky spot right now, but we'll get out of it if only to play you lot. Thanks all , has it been 18 months?? Must be getting old time passing like that ... we are a bit unpredictable...

Re: Sunderland Away

Do not rate Larsson. At all. Match of the Day player. Fantastic set pieces like, which means him being out is massive for us, but as an all round player? No ta. Don't really get it about McClean either. Well, not yet. Looks promising, direct, gets about, good delivery, but don't quite get the media...

Re: Bolton vs York City

Christ now he's a York supporter. Seems to me we have a serial football supporter here. When you grew up in 1970's York , to see top football you needed to travel, I used to get all over as a kid , Leeds , Liverpool, both Sheffields, Nottingham, Middlesbrough...anywhere there was football ( and a b...

Re: Steve Bruce

Madmarx, You were being reasonable until you got on the "We're considerably better supported than yow" tack. I just don't understand this whole look at the size of our support thing. It's a quirk of circumstance that the club you follow has a traditionally large following so why big yourself up on i...

Re: Bolton vs York City

I'll go to the replay though, years since I've been there The last time we played them that springs to mind was a night match at Burnden in about 84. Asa Hartford scored with an absolute peach. 8) I,m originally from York, remember well the early 70,s when Bolton brought a a load of 'Clockwork' and...

Re: Steve Bruce

Well somebodies got to beat us eventually, it might aswell be you. A balmy afternoon in May hopefully with Europe a possibility for us both. You can expect half the town down there with or without tickets if that is the case, it will be mental. Just had a look at our run in and i,m liking it Sat 9 ...

'Not going to get into the fan base thing too deeply but your turn out today was absolutely shameful'. Cool. Do you usually contradict yourself? Now i was being all nice till you started ..... Dont be an idiot, have you gone down to Bristol so your IQ will fit in with the straw chowers?? Youre just...

Re: Smackems v The Trotters

Cattermole should have gone for the tackle on Elmander. Second yellow, if not a straight red. The referee was abysmal, in the pocket of Bruce and the Sunderland supporters all day. That said we never really got going. I thought Klasnic was going to have another one of his super-sub appearances but ...

Re: Where do you (or should you) draw the line on terrace so

This topic has been broached before.. I proved catagorically that some football chants are beyond decency In deference to Zulu and tango ( and to general sensibility) i will not repost my submission. It was to the tune of lord of the dance , to do with Jeremey Alliadiere and certain incestuous , pea...
