Sounds good. We needed something in midfield. Even if that something allows Josh to drop deeper (he's not as good there but needs must).

I'm predicting that if Madine goes this window, so does Parky and his team.
In a Colin Todd - Per Frandsen - Blackburn repeat?

Re: Bolton v Burton, who'll show their true pedigree and who'll end up bitter? H Sat 16/Dec

There can't be too many goals scored from a strike outside the box that bounce twice before beating a professional goalkeeper and nestling in the net, can there? With no Deflections? Just watched the 2 minute highlight package through our Official YouTube Account and it even managed to sneak in anot...

Re: Parky to avoid seeing red and chop down the tricky trees? Notts Forest v BWFC 9/12/2007

I've come to the conclusion it is mostly Alnwick's fault (not that anyone will give a hoot). Those long-ish things that extend from his shoulders give him a head-start in The Race To Meet The Ball At Its Highest Point. He f*ucked that up right good and proper by not even bothering, or doing anythin...

Has it been highlighted or does it go without saying just what a calamitous, monumental, abhorrent fecking brain-fart our collective defence had for their second. I'm not sure who is more at fault, the keeper or Little. Anyone got an opinion or are we past caring?

Our record at Trent Bridge speaks for itself. If we keep a miracoulous clean sheet we will leave with a point.

Re: Witty/Funny/ Great Player nicknames

Back in the early 00s in the West Upper two old dears behind us used to call Per Frandsen "Peaches". Maybe becuase he often scored goals that would you described as a "Peach". Keeping it Scandi, I recall our brief loanee Stig Tofting was casually referred to as "The Lawnmower." This works in two dif...

Re: The Promotion Commotion Transfer Thread 2017

I know we signed Henry and he's been a solid addition to the midfield, but it's worth noting that 30-year old Yousuf Mulumbu has just signed with Killmarnock til the end of the campaign, oh and Chris Eagles has been re-united with Owen Coyle at Ross County... I rated Mulumbu and was surprised ...

Re: Reading, righting and a rhythm attack.....At Home to Reading ..21 Nov.

Pretty Pathetic from Phil Parkinson last night really. What goes on on the pitch is a direct reflection of him. I don't know how many times we have to lose a lead for him to realise that (t)his team is incapable of seeing a game out, whether it's a 2-goal cushion or one, or whether it's a home match...

Re: Reading, righting and a rhythm attack.....At Home to Reading ..21 Nov.

My first match of the season tonight. Kind of looking forward to it, but would be more optimistic had we taken advantage of a very, very shite Preston side on Friday night. Draws aren't going to keep us up and if a team is there for the taking, take them! Little seems to give us a good attacking out...

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition

I just want to get this off my chest before I go crazy. I recall in 97-98 we changed our away strip to purple for our second stab at Premier League football. We were relegated. Not so long ago we had an all-black kit in the Premier League under OC. We were relegated. Then a couple of years back in t...

Loads on here.

Not a great game to watch.
It's bereft. Exactly like the last time we played at Deepdale in front of the Sky cameras. A bizarre choice to broadcast.

Re: Buoyant Bolton or Wallowing Wanderers? Fulham v Bolton 28/10/2017

My experience of Craven Cottage is that we play shite and lose. One notable exception was a wintery mid week affair that was so bad and so cold I was willing anyone to score to avoid extra time. Extra time ensued and we bored ourselves to victory. District Line was up the spout. I'm fairly sure we ...

Great great great great result. But it's gonna be a maaaaassive uphill struggle if Madine continues to miss from 6 yards. Only saw the channel 5 highlights so not got a great feel for The Overall, but chances like that shouldn't go begging at any level.
