Extrapolation update: . Screenshot 2023-03-04 at 19.42.56.png . Wanderers still on course for play-offs, but playing away in the second leg. Barnsley still the (recent) form team, barring the serene Wednesday. Ipswich have got over their wobble. I think that Pompey ought to be in that list On a goo...

This should be an opportunity to gain some ground. With the top 4 all at 2 points per game already, we need to avoid slip ups and ideally get at l...

Our point at Ipswich is looking better by the match
Unbeaten in 4, and 3 of them clean sheets
Coming together nicely

Don’t underestimate the influence of the coach. She can match almost anyone Heard a fascinating (15 minute?) interview last week with the guy who coached Wiegman, and Lucy Bronze, and Alessia Russo at University of North Carolina, Anson Dorrance. Never heard of him before, but he has been in charge ...

Time for DSB to do one of his position coverage charts? I think we now have League 1 quality cover for everyone except MJ Something like this? squad.jpg We can argue over pecking order and position but that seems to be the squad. Thanks What a difference a year makes We can all nitpick but overall ...

Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Can somebody explain how this model works economically at our level? I have no idea how much we pay players at this level so I am guessing But 15 players plus coaching staff can’t be far off £1million per year. How do we recoup that? Is it savings on future transfer fees (which we have rarely paid i...

5:1 or 6:1 wage bill ratio sounds feasible to me over the divisions as a whole, but then as well as comparing Bolton with Rotherham you're comparing Norwich with Accy. Champo sides also tend to have larger squads which may drive up the salary without What is clear is that the base wage, if you want...

Re: Deal or no deal? - Summer 2022 Transfer gossip!
Reliable data probably not, but from various reports, there's little reason to disbelieve that the gap between average salaries might be in the order of a 5 or 6 to 1 ratio If that is right then any Championship player worth having will hang on there until the end of his contract. The sacrifice in ...

And I think its fair to say we are in complete agreement. I think it’s hardly dire. We have a good squad. I just worry that we’re one maybe two experienced quality players short of really competing for automatic promotion. I expected one or two of those sorts to come in and as they haven’t it feels...

Re: Deal or no deal? - Summer 2022 Transfer gossip!
We have two months left of this transfer window.
One signing per month then.
Hardly any advance leaks about prospects
Not the most exciting window ever
Not that that will dampen speculation
A good side effect of the January window successes
