Good, strong team. Attacking options on bench. Another defensive injury would obviously be a problem, but fingers crossed.

If we have lost another CB to injury (Mbete or Johnston), then they could score another 3 tomorrow.
If it's Mbete and he's replaced by MJW I honestly think we'll be stronger. I'd rather have the level headed pro than a panicking specialist.

We're struggling a bit but have a run in against largely bottom half sides. I think your pessimism is misplaced. We can cover these injuries. We can put Julian Darby up front again, it'll be reet.

We've got an easier run in and an extra game, so could afford to not win and possibly drop a place, but it does seem the kind of game serious promotion candidates should be winning.

Well, she has no choice now! If time it happens, it's with somebody we're trying to move on, her hands are tied Anyway, I can see another Draw on Saturday - A team fighting for every point like Cambridge and we're away from home I'm.going for a narrow win. Full strength, no messing about with over-...

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

The club have now responded - time to let it go & move on as the club have and get behind the lad. Quite right, that's all we can do. I'm not going to start boycotting or anything but they can feck off with their moral high ground on betting and fan behaviour from now on. Respect lost for me that t...

I don't think they will or should sack him, but also don't think the 'courts have dealt with it, crack on' line works either. Seems to have motivated him to make himself as indispensable as possible though. My feeling is maximum fine, apology from club for erroneous statement and he has to miss a fe...

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

Problem for the club is that it, and especially that irritating CEO, has put itself on a moral pedestal. Also he clearly told a pack of lies resulting in a statement that makes the club look very silly at best, or as revictimising the doorman at worst. Of course he deserves a second chance generally...

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

I've just seen the CCTV footage. This wasn't a flare up with a cocky bouncer. They kicked the door down and carried out a vicious and sustained assault after the initial thing had died down. Not at all what I'd been led to believe by the coverage. https://twitter.com/harrybwfc446/status/164617383996...

Re: A Challenge, but not the University one. Away to Oxford, Sat Apr 15th 3-0'clock.

I think it's a disgrace that he's put himself in such a position. I await the club's statement as there is a victim in this whole case and it's not Kyle nor his dad. People make mistakes and as long as he is rehabilitated then we can all move on. Not having the celebrations on Twitter though as I t...

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

I’d be interested in whether people think we will make the play offs…I did…I’m starting to have doubts…dropped too many points since that semi final and in the league we’ve not played really well bar maybe Sheffield Wednesday since before then. Injuries hurting. Dempsey in court…and today very much...

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

I think Shoretire needs to be nothing more than a desperation sub from this point on. If he's determined to keep.the system and therefore play Mbete, play a midfield two who protect him. Not Kachunga. I see why he did what he did today (excepting the late Kachunga sub), but he shouldn't do it again....

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

Big-club play-offs hopefuls held at home by relative minnows desperately seeking to avoid the drop, leading to fans questioning whether they’re good enough for the fight. But enough of Derby-MK and Pompey-Morecambe - we should have won our game, and the slip widens the field again. Posh go above us...

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

Derby have conceded 👀 I predicted this as well as our goal. I am a soothsayer. I'm also on holiday and pissed. I've just been discussing stelios with the barman in my Greek hotel. A youngster, but knew of us through the shaven headed legend. My wife and I just toasted Declan. She has no idea who he...

Good, we've got subs coming on.

Hopefully a wakeup moment. The lack of pace from Jerome certainly wouldn't have helped, but you'd've suspected Adeboyejo would've been able to fill that role.
Really hasn't settled in it seems, but looks to be more of a long-term signing.

Mbete really doesn’t look like a Man City player, does he?
Not seen him yet but my Huddersfield mate said he was appalling. Sounds like he can do a job for us but wasn't one for a championship relegation scrap. He was a bit of a panic signing really, but did his bit on Friday so fair dues.

Re: Pints, Punts and Points. Home v Cambridge United, Easter Monday 3-0'clock

Not sure there is a score low enough for that performance. Absolutely unremittingly dire. A massive come down after Wembley. Slow. Predictable. And frankly I’m not sure we are even that. Nobody seems to know what they are meant to be doing let alone what anyone else is meant to be doing. Shoretire ...
