And fans chant 'City til we die' and 'We'll die when we want'. Brucie will be doing the old diplomat act again.
I see it was Swansea's old striker Graham who scored after a 30 game league run without a goal.

Re: π = √(4c ) ∑ in Wiggin
I will be attendance with the old man, first visit to a game in Wigan since standing on a grass bank as a teenager at Springfield Park and watching a 2-0 win courtesy of a 'nose-bleed run' (Rioch's words not mine) from Tony Kelly in 1993*. I seem to recall a burnt-out snack bar at the top of the slo...

Exactly the argument I made to my housemate the other day after he made a me a mediocre fried bacon sandwich. (with soggy fat)Prufrock wrote:Nah if you fry it the fat is either slimy, or the meat bit cremated for the day to go crispy. Grilled makes the fat go crispy and the meat still tasty.

Owen Coyle cost Wigan £500,000, says chairman Dave Whelan [ Please tell me you added that in CH! If not, what the feck has that got to do with sacking Coyle!? In hindsight it seems obvious that it was added by CH as a joke. However Whelan being Whelan I still checked the original article!

Re: Bonny Donny Belles to get a good humping
Sounds like a good game, nice to see that we won well for once with some good attacking play. I of course missed it, away for the weekend. Shame really, especially after enduring Tuesday.
Long may it continue, hope there will be many more such displays for the rest of the season.

Re: Bonny Donny Belles to get a good humping
Joe Mason is obviously better than last January's savior Craig Davies and summer savior Beckford. Still, we're obviously going to sign another saviour next month so that's something to look forward to. He'll be even better when Dougie's made him a star and then sent him back. Because his coaching i...

2 things about this article:
- Theft or cleaning up an eyesore?
- How funny is that 'angry and fed up face' photo?
Not that I'm condoning criminal activity, just chuckling at it. A bit.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
That sounds really interesting. Preferred the film to the book, which is unusual. The film was more light-hearted, some of the book is tortuous both to read and in subject matter. Although having said that, the girl I watched it with ran out of the cinema screaming during the chainsaw/stairwell scen...

He's also a rarity in that he was an inspirational freedom fighter who turned out to be an inclusive political leader. He could easily and understandably have given in to revenge and bitterness.
I doubt I'll ever see anyone even close to his equal in world politics in my lifetime.

Re: Beckford
actually think he's a reasonable finisher. he does make good runs off the shoulder of defenders, but this requires somebody sliding that ball in for him he is not a 1 man up front/ hold up, bring others in, target man Exactly, he's neother good enough nor the right kind of player to pay that role w...

pretty soon there will be a pill you can take that cures you of this awful bolton-supporting disease!! until then - expect more years of misery and unfulfilled hope with the occasional one week of pure unadulterated joy! :D Haha! reminds me of the Hardy quote I used as my signature during our awful...

I've said for a while now if Freedman fails Gartside should go with him. He took a pretty big punt there.
I don't blame him for Coyle, his rep was sky high and most of us wanted him, but this will be one failed manager too many.

Re: Bonny Donny Belles to get a good humping
I think you have invented a new formation. Bravo! 3-2-3-2 is the way forward. Looks a bit like 5-0-5 to me :P Who cares as long as it is a Bolton win, Doncaster have only scored 2 goals and conseeded 10 in the last 6 away games! Only 1 win against Sheff Wed, they even drew a blank against Barnsley!...

Re: Freedman out!
I think the thing that keeps me on Freedman's side is the tantalising prospect of 'the day of click' when it all falls into place and we all say 'ahhh, now we get it'. I suppose the concern is that we are waiting for the players to have the same revelation. aye - pretty much where I am... and I'll ...
