Re: Cardiff away
I too was at the Blackburn game. My recollection is that we had an end and a side plus about 50% of the other side. Frankie scored early on and there was no looking back after that! In my top 3 all time games.

Re: Charlton away
I'm going to this one, but sans Millwall supporting mate who often accompanies me. I'll be wearing my Wanderer "Kevin Davies - Legend" t-shirt as a farewell tribute should anyone wish to say hello! [Although an infrequent poster, I'm on here most days, so I feel as though I know many of you well!] ...

Re: Charlton away
Pay on the gate, this'un. I don't suppose anybody has any idea how many there'll be? I don't fancy a trip down there only to be turned away! According to Wik, the away stand holds 3,000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Valley_(London)#Jimmy_Seed_Stand I think someone on here said we'd sold around 1...

DSB provided the stats some time ago: Points achieved in last decade of second-tier seasons by 1st (champs), 2nd (auto-promoted), 6th (final play-off place) & 22nd (highest relegated) teams: 2012 89-88-75-40 2011 88-84-75-42 2010 102-91-70-47 2009 90-83-74-46 2008 81-79-70-52 2007 88-86-75-42 2006 1...

Re: Palace Game
I'll be there too. I go to most of the games in London, but, having missed QPR last season, I don't think I've seen us win in the league since West Ham early the previous season (2010/11). This season, it's been Millwall, Brighton and Peterborough; surely, I'm due a win? In reality, I'll witn...

Re: Next 8 games
The next 8 take us up to the "make or break" Christmas period and comprise of 3 teams hovering around the play offs, 4 teams below us and Blackpool, who are just 2 points above us. If DF, LL and t'other fella can weave their magic quickly enough, then there's points to be had from this run of games...

Re: Peterborough away
Right, I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and defend the team, albeit that I acknowledge they are somewhat Jekyll & Hyde. The conditions today were atrocious: we were given tickets at the turnstile "in case it's abandoned before half time". So, it was always going to be a bit of a lottery ...

Cracking!
And if we win by 6 tomorrow night, we'll break in to the top 16!

Re: Sussex by the sea!
Got my ticket (H764). I'll be impressed if we take 1,200 - thought it would be about half that.
They've not lost in five (3 draws, 2 wins), but aren't outstanding at home (W3, D3, L2). Put your money on 1-1.

Re: Blackpool
Although yesterday's point was, in itself, a good thing, the fact remains that we are now 2pts further from the play off places than we were before the game. As DSB pointed out a few weeks ago, the historical data are very consistent: you need 92pts (an average of 2ppg) for automatic promotion and 6...

Re: Wanderers away at Millwall
This was my first game since, er... Millwall in the Cup earlier in the year. We weren't massively convincing that day, but certainly looked to have more confidence than we did on Saturday. What I saw simply confirmed what many have been saying on here for some time - poor defence, strikers' reluctan...

Re: Crawley Town / Wanderers Match Thread
Just 4 months ago, Crawley were 3 leagues below us. That's an indication of how far we've fallen. Why on earth would anyone bring on Davies when he's just played 3 games in 7 days? It beggars belief.
