But are there any bargains from sorta 12 months ago I should look for at "reasonable" prices. Not fussed about sports sims got all the ones I want for Wi...

football factory was on Film4's Brit Film week last night. Possibly the worst film I've ever seen on almost any level, Danny Dyer should be taken outside and kicked to death - he, and that Hassan bloke who he's mates with and only ever plays a football hooligan, are everything that is bad about fil...

Further quote from Blatter... "Before, the problem was tackling from behind, but now players are doing it from the front and from the side. This is a matter we will discuss this weekend. "We will not only make recommendations to the referees, we will instruct them to be stronger against this violenc...

I think some sort of protest is in order. Some banners and chanting on Saturday, anyone? I hate to be the voice of apathy, but it'll make no difference whatsoever. The list is endless of chairmen (including our own) doing what they like despite fan protests. If it hurt tham in the pocket, they'd ca...

Paying players silly money, changing kick of dates and times, jazzing up the game etc is one thing. Fooking around with a format for a league is another thing entirely. Its an absolutely abysmal idea. Whoever came up with it should be strung up and tortured to death by football fans because honestly...

Re: Bassett Leaves Leeds?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/7215545.stm Now wtf is that about? Caretaker manager for a day?! Leeds United assistant manager Dave Bassett has left the club. Bassett's departure follows that of former boss Dennis Wise who, on Monday, announced he was joining Kevin Ke...

This has to be the funniest appointment of the year. I can't decide what is best the Mr Shrewd businessman Ashley is numb enough to appoint a shot manager like Keegan or that the fans think its the messiah returning and everything will be rosey in the garden now. Wonder if its too late to get a bet...

FOOOOOOOKING HELL! What a joke of a club. Sorry but appointing a man because he built a half decent team a decade ago but won fook all and since then has failed in virtually every football job he has had is a complete joke! However, it will galvanise those geordie bastards in the short term and I fe...

Agree it would be good. Problem is that the big Clubs have larger scouting networks etc. So finding the next Pele in some remote part accessible only by Yak is becoming more difficult for smaller clubs. Then if you do find them, keeping it a secret until they've signed is the next big hurdle.. Gott...

Re: Ronaldo
Substitute relevant names with related Anelka transfer speculation (see below). Thats how I want to see things done. Give me a job at the BBC! We won't sell Ronaldo - Man Utd Cristiano Ronaldo Ronaldo joined Man Utd in a £12.2m deal in August 2003 Manchester United chief executive David Gill insist...
