True it is flawed (nobody said it wasn't) - but it is flawed in the same way for all clubs and so you can assume a certain effect of levelling-out it doesn't count the money Bolton spent on JJ's wages or on agents fees and "bungs" - but then it doesn't do that for any other club either - so it serve...
