I personally rate him but I wouldn't complain if Hill replaces him with a decent winger who is, at least, no worse.

It'd be nice to keep Verlinden but hopefully there is someone else out there.

Not massively arsed. Beat MK Dons next week and we're back on track.

I won't be there but I'll be back against MK Dons the following Saturday.

However, as torn as I am about a cup run, I side with Insane on this one. As long as we emerge injury free (we won't), it'd be great to get into the next round and a POTENTIAL televised clash.

Hill's got this team playing and winning, I'm amazed there is criticism of his subs and the way he's going about things tbh. Whatever he's doing is working wonders.

Haha my mistake.

Anyway, I'd personally take an extra man now that Crawford is out and Hill admits he 'gambled with Verlinden's fitness' on Saturday. Preferably Marshall if poss.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Maybe we couldn’t afford him - stringent wage cap under embargo Surely we find out from agents etc. what his salary demands are likely to be before approaching & asking the player to come & train with us or come on trial. Otherwise its just a complete waste of everyone's time, the club, staff & pla...

Ben Marshall would be absolute class at this level, surprised we passed.

Re: Can we give the junior citizens the blues? Man City u23s EFL Trophy (H) 29.10.19 KO 7pm

^ Mourinho once said of Joe Cole - in public - "One more game like that and he's out." That was when he was winning titles at Chelsea. It's not the only time he's publicly called out players, especially Cole. And yet Cole now calls him a 'Master Motivator' who gets more juice out of his players: ht...

Re: Can we give the junior citizens the blues? Man City u23s EFL Trophy (H) 29.10.19 KO 7pm

Mourinho made an absolute c*nt of himself by calling out Luke Shaw and making his life a public misery . Course, since the brow-beating tosser was sacked in Dec 18, Shaw was announced as United's player of the month for March – achieving three in total that season. At the end of the season, Shaw wa...

It's also possible that Hill had drilled into Weir what he expected from him, and Weir just ignored it. The ball is in Weir's court at the moment for me. If he wasn't listening to his boss, he'll have to start doing so. Mourinho's been just as brutal (if not more so) with his players in the past an...

I actually like the way Hill is going about it. If Weir wasn't listening to him, he needs reprimanding for it. If he listens, he'll be back in the team. No messing around. It's hardly a Granit Xhaka situation.

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 26/10/19

Like others, I remember the FA cup game in the early 90s but not the most recent one!

Anyway, presuming the game is on tomorrow (don't know what the weather has been like down there but it's lashing it down for the next 24 hours here), I reckon we can get a win here, definitely. :pissed:
