Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Quite so; there are hospitality choices to be made for the play-off finals. Vol-au vents or pie and peas.

Top left hand corner symbols

I am quite new to the forum and would like to know what the symbols are that appear by poster's user names, please.
1 Green triangle with a flash of lightening.
2 Yellow dot.
3 Yellow triangle
Thanks, in anticipation, piesrus.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

You may be right, Tony. Their manager has been vocal in his support for us. I respect that.
Shaun Harvey has been a disgrace throughout this process. The EFL have kicked him out of his job and any disciplinary actions against us need to be mindful of his behaviours.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I imagine if the medical staff haven't been paid and refuse to turn out no game can be played. Interestingly, Brentford are thinking of putting out their youth team, if we do the same, as an act of solidariry. Good on 'em.

Could a new owner deposit monies with the EFL?

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Maybe someone has made a bid already, hence the deadline for LB. Sale and wages paid on Tuesday, Brentford played on Thursday, Forest on Sunday. Happy days. BN now saying the Brentford game is "pencilled in" for Wednesday. Get your boots on, Pies, we're making our debuts! :D Not before time. Centre...

This must be the longest match thread in months. And a ball has not been kicked yet. That tells you enough in itself. And at just two pages, the previous game's thread probably qualifies for DSB's Guinness Book of Unwelcome Records 2018-19. If this game does ever get played, I wouldn't be surprised...

Nixon claims another buyer - a new one - is interested and would rather avoid admin. So we’ll see on that.
Must be a fan if they are more concerned about a points deduction before a knock down purchase price. Promising, if true.

Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.

There is a dim light of hope in Ken's latest Chairman Notes. He praises how other consortiums abided by confidentiality norms, unlike motormouth Bassini. No talk of tyre kickers. This leads me to suspect that he is still in contact with one or more of the other interested parties and will remove Bas...

Close of play Monday. Another 48 hours.

And then Ken will "have to consider exercising the alternative options available to me." In other words, begin the process for administration or liquidation.
Or sell to someone else .... hopefully.

Statement is from Anderson; of that I have no doubt. It should be taken with an enormous pinch of salt.

BBC are reporting that the EFL board has instructed Bolton to complete their fixtures. Easier said than done; the club seems to be closed for business, leaderless and out of funds. Time for Brett Warburton or Michael James to put some more money in to complete the season? How could this be done with...

Re: So when will the bubble burst?

There is plenty of money to go round and much more to come; growing middle classes in South East Asia, India and China will offer up hundreds of millions of potential customers. How the money is divvied up is the issue, but the game is not run by a socialist co-operative. Clubs have to look after th...

Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.

In his interview of Maunday Thursday he only admitted to filling in the form, not to actually sending it off to the EFL. Maybe the serioursness of it all is sinking in and he is as likely to huy the club as fly to the moon. Is the £20 million he has to invest before paying off debtors or after?

I think some of the old boys being touted for the Bolton job have a track record making them worth consideration. I don't think the same can be said of OSG. I guess Fergie had a big say in his surprise appointment. With Edwin Van De Sar being viewed as the upcoming Director of Football, it looks lik...
