Re: RIP Gary Speed
Was playing golf at Altrincham when I heard the news. I still find it difficult to believe. Very hard indeed to believe and, as far as I know, we have never really heard why he took his own life. I've heard from more than one source (unconnected) who are in journalism that his wife was having an af...

Re: Our strongest possible team
My personal opinion is that I'd rather have Lonergan playing... I only put Bogdan in because in the stipulations for this thread I stated 100% fitness and on top form (pretty much so that I was allowed to still put Holden and Chungy in haha). On top form I'd take Bogdan, but 9 times out of 10 I'd ha...

Our strongest possible team
So if you could pick our team with all players in their best form and 100% fit (I know it's a ridiculous concept but just go with it), who would you pick? I'd probably go - _____________________Beckford___________________________ _______Chungy__________________________Eagles___________ _____________...

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
Joe Mason signs on loan until January 5th... again. Wonder how long till Mackay realises he's already loaned Gestede to Blackburn and recalls Mason. My bet is some time before midnight Hey look here! It's not easy when your transfer supremo is a 14 year old from Kazakhstan who hasn't started shavin...

1. Who do you think is our biggest threat 2. who should we be wary of 3. Likely team you will send out 4. What are your opinions on our ticket offer, do you agree that we are well within our rights to do so (as many other clubs do frequently, although i'm not here to be hostile i must add, i just w...

Re: Tees this up nicely, could it really be FORE!!
It may sound a bit negative but i'd definitely take a point from this game. If we can stay unbeaten and keep the momentum rolling on, I'd expect us to really profit from the following 5 games. Huddersfield (H) Doncaster (H) Wigan (A) Charlton (H) Barnsley (A) All 3 home games should be wins, Barnsle...

Anyone see btw that Chungy captained South Korea and scored the winner against Switzerland in their friendly?
Bet he comes back knackered and jetlagged though

Re: Bogdan out for five weeks.
Thought the keeper we had on loan was Arran Lee-Barrett which was the Ipswich number one for the first half of last season. Not a good keeper but Lonergan has been good and I'd probably rather Lonergan over Bogdan atm

Out of interest, anyone know what'S happened to Jan Gregus? I had hoped he might be someone we could bring on seeing as he was something like Slovakia u21s captain when we got him in January and had looked good from what I'd heard in the development squad stuff

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
I really don't get this lowering of expectations - that way lies Div 3. At the start of this season we were favourites to go up, had just missed out on play offs etc, had a good squad on paper, still had PL payments, have fantastic facilities. Surely theres enough material there to sell the club to...

Re: what if
He slagged off Breaking Bad. (I don't know, but three of us have asked that question now). Can't remember. Think it were something about what if we still had some of our old top players playing now, what would the lineup look like. Hierro. Campo. Cid . Those sorts of people. This made me laug...

Re: Best Performance in a White Shirt?
Nolan in a 1-0 win against Spurs just before he became captain. Bossed the game which put us up into the top 4 I think and scored a blinder on the back end of a run of something like 6 straight goals. He defo should've gone to the World Cup ahead of Jenas that season, I think that killed his career ...

Re: Do Owls poo in the Reebok woods?
I'd probably approach this game with caution. I think it's a game we can win certainly but we have to be careful not to concede early on or the fans will get on the players backs straight away. I'd start off with: __________________Bogdan___________________ McNaughton___Mills_________Ream______Bapti...

Re: Snoop Dogg's Bluenoses Vs. Amir Khan's Wanderers
I'm not even considering the top lot atm... I think I will look at the table in about February (when our good run started last time) and compare to the position we were in then before I start to wonder about a potential push for safety/playoffs depending on position. Long way to go till then and if ...

Re: Snoop Dogg's Bluenoses Vs. Amir Khan's Wanderers
Wow, really can't quite explain how happy I am with that. Watched the whole game and thought it was a really good performance given the pressure the boys were under from the previous weeks. 1st half kept it tight and got our goal, same up until the 2nd and then had our classic moment of no concentra...
