Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Thanks for that cheery thought on a Tuesday morning GtE. Might the South East consider taking him back on a free? ;) Free? Nah. £5 Million and we will think about it. Nice to know my worth Sorry mate. It was a season long loan and we didn’t exercise our right to buy. Toodle pip! And the south is be...

Opinions of the guy who will be Head of Y7 from September and the Headteacher at the school I work at was a resounding, ‘Go to the cricket’. Decision made!

Looking forward to Dambuster Triathlon this Sunday

The course is in and around Rutland Water which is a gorgeous part of the country (South Nottingham/ North Lincolnshire-ish)

Anyone else got plans?

Yes. A massive feckin fry up! 😎

Re: The athletics/running thread

Sounds like a good one GtE. I'll be testing my dodgy hip.at Selby parkrun. This will be my 100th different parkrun venue, elevating me to a new level of parkrun tourist geekery. 😁 Tattoo? https://i.pinimg.com/originals/21/43/ab/2143ab437b68dd23050d7785a9122513.jpg Already have in advance That’s now...

Re: Never going back again? Sat 30th April 12:30pm KO Fleetwood (H)

I fancy a 'couple' of end-of-season pints tomorrow, but with it being a 12:30 kick off I guess it just means that I'll end up getting moaned at earlier, and for longer. 🤔 I've always found Burnden Paddock and Lever End exceptional company......... I must confess to having had similar thoughts mysel...

I hadn't, apparently. Have done now (caught it within an hour of the deadline). Me and Mrs GtE

Anyone else doing it?
I’m up for the breakfast element, if there is one!

Yeesh the mad bastards. Was really hoping Everton would go down. What have Everton done to offend you?! They should have gone down in 97/98. Stayed up at our expense on GD, after we were denied a perfectly good goal against them in the first game at the Reebok. Not that we hold grudges! That and th...

Worldle - 3
Quordle - 4/6/8/9

Played all those, took the car for a service and walked 45 mins back with the dog and it’s not even 9am yet. I should point out the walk back usually takes 25 mins without the dog!

Evening run yesterday. I did just under 7 miles at under 8 min/ mile pace for the first time in a long time. My grade adjusted pace (sfuckin hilly here) was just under 7:45 pace. Just shows that losing a little weight (I've dropped nearly a stone in the last month) can have huge benefits. :D Loving...
