Much as I would dislike the BNP getting a foothold in mainstream politics you lot are missing the point, why are people actually voting for them? Because nearly 1,000,000 voters are all thick? Because 1,000,000 voters are racist? Because 1,000,000 voters actually beleive in their policies? I doubt ...

Re: Managers?
I wonder if this is what "Great managers" are made off certainly makes sense to me. Meanwhile, Capello has denied claims from new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti that he was "surly" when in charge of AC Milan in the early 1990s. He added: "I don't recognise myself in this description! (by Ancelotti). ...

Firstly we all seem to celebrate Christmas Is that as in Christ-mas, or the Winterfest and all that stuff? . Blackboards aren't being phased out for any other reason than whiteboards are better (ooo racist) and new media technologies have replaced them. The media have rammed the PC thing down our t...

Right I'll ask a question. Why do you think someone "born in England" should be any more entitled to live here than someone born in say Pakistan. Why should being born in a particular place give you greater rights that those born elsewhere. Why should we look after our "own" first? And who are our ...

Interesting with Alonso, as why does Rafa want to sell him? I think it's more 'why did Rafa want to sell him'. He'd had a poor season last year (by his overwhelmingly high standards) and Rafa needed to ship him out to get in Barry, because the club weren't going to sanction the £17m/£18m for him ju...

Evra...Vidic...Ferdinand...Brown ............Van Der Sar............... with Keown agreeing except to...

The perfect world will never happen. We just have to do the best we can, but when I'm no longer allowed to be English and proud of it, maybe it's time to jack it all in. What happened in the past is history, England no better or worse than any other nation, but we've moved on and learned, and what ...

Seriously guys, it is time that we started to look at the policies of the small parties. After all, we've seen what the main ones do with our money. Is exactly what I'm thinking just now. Also, Prufrock, how come nationalism automatically equals racism in your book? :conf: Nationalism just makes me...

For me what this season shows is that the league is becoming even more lopsided. Liverpool weren't far away in terms of points but they only have two players who would get into Ferguson's team. For me that shows that you don't know all that much about football. Which Liverpool players do you think ...

Oh, and I've said over and over that Anderson has the raw attributes to be one of the best bowlers in the world with his pace, ability to move it both ways, reverse swing it, and a good short ball. I've been laughed at many times for saying it, but I'm starting to feel vindicated. Well in lad! Hmm....

Went to Michael Caines at Abode last week. Just down from Picadilly station. Very nice. Quite posh food though, not huge portions, so you have to like that kinda thing. They do a 3 course lunch menu for £12 so pretty good, and you can have 2 courses matched with a glass of wine for £18. Not bad for...

Mentioned em before, but been listening to this from Radio 1 Big Weekend http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/bigweekend/2009/artists/florenceandthemachine/ Her first album is out on 6th July and is already attracting some rave reviews. Been bit worried that the hype and expectation would drag the debut down...
