Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?

Something nice at The Strawbury Duck I hope. Taking the Old Dear up there for a birthday meal. Any recommendations from those who've been recently? Spoilt for choice menu-wise, right up my street. I really enjoyed soup and then sea bass about a month ago. Think the sea bass was a 'special'. I've no...

Cheers Chris, first I've seen of the goals. Think Mills might have been unlucky but he was losing out to Holt and the flailing arm made it look like he swatted it away. Bit embarrassed for Lee watching that. The way he jumped up unhurt when Boyce pulled his hand away suggests there was minimal if a...

Another home win or will Dougie look A-Ddick?

Since the away form has tailed off another big win needed here. Eagles back in, same team as Doncaster game for me.

Re: π = √(4c ) ∑ in Wiggin

My Wigan colleague thought we let them off the hook. He wasn't laughing, was just grateful for the points after we battered them early 2nd half. Agree with Norpig about DF, under him they lack the ability to go out and play agressively unless they are losing. Tails were up after a great effort to le...

Tango, the marks in the paper are pretty accurate by my estimation http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/10878906.WANDERERS_v_WIGAN__Match_marks/ Definitely agree with McN as MoM. Moritz was great 2nd half but took a long time to get going. LK, it looks like Rosler has come in...

Re: The athletics/running thread

Ran the SEAA masters at Biggleswade today. 10k cross country. Last time I ran this I came secind last in a time of 47 minutes. Today I did it in 49:39 and was 6th from last. I guess it's progress of sorts. Nice one. Placing's more important than time in Cross Country. Course is never marked out exa...

Re: π = √(4c ) ∑ in Wiggin

Just rewatched the goals. The second one in particular. Ream is just feckin stood there with his finger up his feckin nose playing every man and his dog onside. I dread to think how many goals he's cost us. Where are they? Still not seen them. Immediately thought it was a penalty but then thought w...

Re: π = √(4c ) ∑ in Wiggin

Considering we lost I quite enjoyed today. We were very poor first half, then played really well for half an hour in the 2nd but just seemed to lose it after we equalised. Wigan were up for it but nothing special and defensively not that strong. Felt a bit sorry for Baptiste, he's been playing well ...

Getting murdered. Penalty was right. We've been shit since then. All over us. Baptiste getting destroyed. Last 15 we've done a bit better. Can't see us getting back into it. Wigan out to impress. Let's hope they have blown themselves out and Dougie has some idea how to stop mcmannaman.
