To take on and then hold off the Olympic champion in the style he did took nerve and class. Brilliant.
Worth 3 and a half minutes of your time I'd say...

Re: Deal or no deal? - Summer 2022 Transfer gossip!
I've been on here for 15 years and, tbh, this has to be one of the worst gossip threads in all that time. Not even a "my cousin's best friend's sister has just seen X in Chorley KFC." Just putting it out there. :D Well my daughter's mothers sister said that she overhead two Currys sales reps in Tel...

Re: The athletics/running thread
I understand why it costs so much but still baulk at sending it. Especially with all the kit you need. If I manage a marathon next year without a limb falling off I'll consider it for 2024 😁 Yeah. The start up cost isn't cheap. But you can pick up some cheap gear to start with and upgrade if you wa...

Re: The athletics/running thread
That is indeed great news. I thought I heard it was ending this year. Didn't get there to watch in the end. A few mates did it though. It crosses my mind occasionally but I just struggle with the concept of the training required. And the cost brings me out a bit Bijou Bob 😁 The cost is prohibitive ...

Paddle boarding on a local reservoir this weekend. Looking forward to it though I’ve never done it before. Should be fun. Would it be pedantic of me to point out this is a) not tonight and b) a sporting endeavour and therefore belongs in the sporty type thread? That way I won't be the only one (see...

Here's the big question, do your supermarkets have toilets? Not a thing in this that London even in the actual supermarkets (rather then express). Not sure if it's a London, or Southern thing.
