Re: What are you watching tonight?

Me too, General. Gonna be a good'un. Where you watching, btw? Not in a stalkerish manner but just because Genesis in Whitechapel is £3.50 a ticket on mondays atm. Peckham is similarly priced too for mondays. Also, for anyone interested, involved in this movie bloghttp://sodyourmultiplex.wordpress.co...

Re: Today I'm happy about......

Happiest I've been for some considerable time! My brother was diagnosed as having pancreatic cancer just before Chrimbo. His team of surgeons were confident he was in the 10% that an op would be feasible for, and at 56 he was otherwise fit and healthy enough to try for. He went into surgery at 8.40...

Re: What are you playing tonight?

Roy Orbison Best vocalist ever, IMO Interesting. The sound of Roy Orbison's voice has me diving for the off switch. Fair dinkum. As ever, this world is a game of opinions. For me he's one of the few who can marry beauty and despair perfectly just with his voice. 'Crying' being the exemplar for that...

Will do. I'll be the one apologising to the parents as Pru shouts a stream of four-letter expletives concerning the footballing abilities of one Zatayiah Knight.

Slightly above the 2012 average for train and tram drivers. Yes... train and tram drivers are surely overpaid when compared to other jobs, given the modest skill set and qualifications required and the scope and need for decision-making in the role? Naah... they are walloping in the overtime... But...
