Quite possibly! I'm gonna check on the day whether there's any chance of switching to terraces though.

Re: Tractor Boys - the Barry Knight Testimonial Match

BWFC: Bogdan, Mears, Ricketts, Knight, Alonso, Spearing, Andrews, Eagles, M Davies, Ngog, K Davies BWFC Subs: Lonergan, Mills, Ream, Pratley, Afobe, Chung-Yong, Butterfield Well, if it's a 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 that spells an experiment out wide again I'd say. I'd suspect the latter with N'Gog having ...

Re: Sussex by the sea!

A heads-up for anybody who might be stopping overnight Saturday: the trains are a bit screwed towards London on the Sunday it seems, with a bus replacement to Three Bridges. You can however, if it fits your plans (as it does ours), go by train all the way from Shoreham-by-Sea on the way back (ticke...

Cheers all, I'll get a shift on & buy ours now then! Yeah a pretty respectable turn-out for such a distance from Bolton hey. Must be a fair-few southern based coming along.

Re: Sussex by the sea!

Aye, [insert-lastest-manager-name]'sEleven, me & me' missus'll be there. Buying tickets later today, I'm presuming with the long trek down there are still a good number left at this point? I expect a reaction to our poor result against Barnsley for this one. That might only mean a draw at best, but ...

Re: Blackpool

i know everyone will say - great - a good point - but doesn't stop me being annoyed/disappointed that we threw away a lead TWICE..... Yeah agreed. It was a decent result to come out with, but we really could have taken those points. I'll be interested to see the replays of our conceded goals in par...

Re: Blackpool

It's a very, very regular appearance that the Wanderers 'Player' fecks up with that 'Cleared *beep*beep*beep*' technical issue, they really make themselves seem amateur. People pay for this service 'fecks sake. Blackpool radio it is.

I'd very much take a draw now :o/

Re: Blackpool

Pratley and KD warming up. Maybe he'll switch to the defensive pattern from the last two home games KD on now could be a good move. Pratley?.... well he runs a lot I guess. Due a goal. Will close down higher up the pitch and make them knock it long.Eagles off. Going compact. Both teams likely to ge...

Re: Lonergan Out till January

Anyone arsed? Looks a pub player to me. Yes. As per above, Bogdan's far from convincing recently. In such a situation what you don't want is one less alternative option to him, one less player providing competition for the spot. Lets face it, he's not going to replace Bogdan is he? Goalkeepers only...

Re: Lonergan Out till January

I've not seen much of Lynch, but to be top of the Championship we need to have a keeper who's capable of playing at Prem level. Bogdan for me isn't convincingly doing that (I still think it'll be a couple of years before he's at his peak, so that'd be 2 'youth' keepers as our top 2). At the very lea...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

From what I can tell about him, and what the '5 Year Plan Fanzine' fella had to tell us on the podcast, Freedman's likely to be quite hungry to constantly improve himself as a manager (as a player apparently on his summer break rather than hitting the clubs of Ibiza he was observing Milan training s...
