When they pass a law saying that possession of any firearm carries an automatic, no-remission, ten years inside, somebody might just start taking notice. Then you've nowt to lose by killing somebody with it So long as its only scrotres, no tears shed by me, but worth considering Also worth consider...

Because of where this thread has headed, there's a horrible part of my brain that has started repeating over and over again.... -bam; -bas, -bat, -barmus, -bartis, -bant -amo, -amas, -amat, -amamus, -amatis, -amant and to this day I never worked out what pluperfect was...... gratias ago polus ut es...

and to this day I never worked out what pluperfect was...... gratias ago polus ut est totus secundum mihi Actually it is not too difficult, Worthy, since we have it in English. It distinguishes two past events as to the time they occurred, the pluperfect occurring before the perfect. In the sentenc...

A closer look at the appearance of a few of the Wigan "football fans" might remind me that the sport of football isn't number one on their priority list. Similar can be found in most football grounds in the country (and out of it). Anyone remember the netting that seperated the Manny Road stand fro...

Paterson is as good a kicker as wilkinson. His all round game however is not as good as Wilkinson in his pomp. However, they do play in different positions. Fullback/Wing Vs Full-back , cannot realy compare the 2. Give me the option of who I'd have in my team, and I'd have neither, although Wilkins...

Worse he was in second place and shunted by his teammate who was running third. I've never seen that happen with the safety car out. Team owner must have gone beserk - his first potential points of the season and both out in one unnecessary collision. Fairly sure I can remember Schumacher being a t...

Aye - I think you would have probably qualified from Englands group too. But a bit like England these days, you never know which Scotland team is turning up - the good one or the not-so-good one...Although England ended up winning fairly comfortable against Samoa, there were moments when it was diff...

all ive seen from wilkinson is a load of whining about the balls being used at the world cup affecting his kicking, some missed kicks and a couple of predictable drop goals..... And Jafka....simon taylor would walk into the england team and rory lamont is a better player than lewsey who have been p...

I was at Twickers for the game in February of this year, when England did indeed win by 42-20. It has to be said in this game that Wilkinson did miss more than Paterson - Paterson missed one kick against Wilko's 3. On the arse end of the conversation though, Wilko did get 27 points to Paterson's 10,...

Re: Rumble in the Jungle
is just about to start on C5 2340 - Sunday.... hopefully you mean a rerun of Ali v Foreman in Zaire and not Chris Walken, The Rock and Lisa Scott Lee I'm only marginally aware of who the latter three cartoon characters you mention actually are. Certainly I meant Ali v Foreman :-) I'd forgotten abou...

Another win for Hamilton
Take 2. I'm not really a fan of F1 on the telly. Once you get out of the first corner with it's associated potential disasters, then it leaves me a little cold. However, I would say well done to Lewis Hamilton on winning again today at the expense of Alonso (amongst others) who managed to spin out w...
