Re: Where are you going tonight?

Leeds Academy (formerly Town & Country) to see Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls. Always puts a good show on. Just sitting out the support in the bar. Can't hear meself think! How was it? Saw a few videos on the old Insta. Looked banging. After a couple of "fines" I really loved the most recent a...

Utter shite. Promotion - not a chance.
Still 6th.
Looking at the top 4, we'll not be troubling them, but the last 2 playoff places look up for grabs.

Re: Handball ref? V Cheltenham away, 4th Oct, 7.45.

Apart from Trafford the rest have been utterly shocking. We deserve nothing and have got nothing. Nothing to take from this performance other than Evatt has to never ever pick that starting lineup again. Never ever ever again can we play non wing backs in such crucial positions. It’s not an option....

Re: General Chit Chat

I think there's only one (now slightly less) fabulously wealthy woman to blame, Tango. Rooney tried to settle it apparently, but Vardy was absolutely convinced she'd win and pressed ahead. I have absolutely no sympathy for her at all. She must be going through a rough time but absolutely deserves to...

I'm not watching but this is sounding like when not if they score. Where are Cheltenham creating chances from? Midfield or long ball?

Re: The athletics/running thread

Got GtE coming over for the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k in 3 weeks. Should be a good do. Some very fast runners turn up for it and usually 2-3000 overall. Out of town to the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey and back. Trying to tempt Bruce and BP. I was well up for it when you first mentioned it around 6 weeks ago...

Re: The Politics Thread

Blair deserves to have his legacy tainted by Iraq but not by bloody Tories who were just as keen to wade in as he was. Similarly, Tories criticised Labour for the run on the banks when they were campaigning for less controls. Which just goes to prove the point; You cannot trust any of them I disagr...

I'd like to think we've been blessed with a fair few competent referees lately.
Which means the opposition thought they were crap! :D
Course they did. They're not as objective, analytical and reasonable as us.

I, Partridge is sensational.
A mate played it in his car on a road trip from Bolton to reading and back. Particularly amusing when read aloud by coogan in character.

Been watching The Capture starring the lovely Holliday Grainger. Entertaining if not brilliant. Bit of police action, spy stuff and a hint of Black Mirror dystopia. What's that on LE? BBC I'm not bothered what you're into mate. I was asking what channel the programme's on 😂 BBC online. Google it. (...

Re: What are you reading tonight?

Just bought the Spanish Game by Charles Cumming and will start on that today. Find myself completely overawed in books shops and just end up getting books in the same genre, or by the same Author Anyone got any tips on where they get inspiration, or recommendations? Spanish Game is good. Takes a wh...
