Re: Le Tour!
Been away for the last couple of weeks so not been following as closely, but managed to catch some bits of highlights on Catalonian TV. Sky have done a great job for Wiggans, and I'm really pleased for Froome who has shown so much energy and endurance on the climbs, whilst putting a good time trial...

Re: Le Tour!
This season seemed to be a mountain racer's dream, and Quintana certainly showed he is one to be reckoned with. Great stage win, and fun race to watch. Froome had a great tour and earned the win that I felt he really deserved last year. Assume tomorrow will be a basic run in to Paris as the podium f...

Re: Le Tour!
still a toughie today. Two hors climbs to begin with before some other toughies late on. Could be good for an early breakaway What's a horse climb? :? About a gallon. He will be fine. It will be Porter who gets fined for that.
Great race today. Makes the podium for 2nd and 3rd look a toss up. First time I've ever seen Froome really struggle. Go Quintana. Hopes he gets his podium finish.

Re: Le Tour!
I've ridden on shrooms before but don't remember riding like that. It was a good ride though and I did get pretty high.

Re: Le Tour!
Nothing like a bit of wind to spice up a tour. Makes the build up to Sunday's monster mountain stage much more exciting.

Re: Wimbledon thread
Ha. Foiled again. Happy to be partially right though. Just never predicted he would out-hit Djokovic on grass. I'm starting to get the suspicion that Murray is actually physically superior (more stamina) to Djokovic and that's really saying something as they're both bloody specimens. Let's not get ...

Re: Le Tour!
Froome now over 3 minutes ahead.....he can't let the lead slip, can he? Seems unlikely. Last year in the mountains I felt he was holding back for Wiggins. Wiggins was their designated No.1. and thus chosen to win. Wiggins was a better time trialist, but in the mountains Froome is a monster as long ...

Re: Le Tour!
seanworth made the trip over then? Made a trip over the handlebars yesterday. Only a few cuts on the leg and a bruised heel. Was pumped to finally be able to connect two trails that I like, but the ATV trail was a bit radical for my limited mountain biking experience. The bridge over the river, whi...

I also don't know enough about sprinting to comment whether Cav was at fault for this crash or not. All hell was breaking loose in that last Km under very windy conditions. Mind you in the articles I read and the quotes and actions attributed to him there is nothing there for me to change my views o...
