Any of the Saturday match-goers hear any filth being sung about Gary Speed by the Cats supporters that the papers are reporting this morning? Apparently an investigation is underway?
Didn't hear it and I was in the ESL near the screen.

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

Loving some of the skill on show in the clips I'm.seeing online. Great to see Hill giving wingers the freedom to express themselves. Only been to the Gillingham game so far, looking forward to seeing the new team play. Despite looking forward to some southern games, unfortunately I'll miss Portsmou...

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

Coaches that prefer possession-based football, like Guardiola, want space when in possession. At least, this is something he's spoken about. When they're out of possession, they narrow the pitch and make it congested.

Also, Bridcutt was outstanding I thought. Proper Rolls Royce of a player, I'm amazed we have him.

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

Maybe. But you also need to temper it with the fact that we were leading 1-0 going into injury time and Hill was probably expecting the 3 points ... and then that happened. High emotions and all that.

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

I personally disagree with giving Zouma a free pass on this one. Me and my mate said when Zouma came on that he's got a mistake in him. He needs to sort that stuff out and be more consistent. Apparently, he was error-strewn for the U23s as well. I've also read that Hill blasted him for not being rea...

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

OK I've seen the replays now - maybe he didn't stick his hand out but I still think it's hand ball. Either way, I'd be pissed if Bolton didn't get a pen for the same thing.

It's still a good point. Might feel a bit chastening at the moment but we're getting better each week

Shocking decision to handle the ball when there was no danger.

Sad to say but not sure Zouma has what it takes to play at this level. Shocking decision to handle the ball when there was no danger. Hope he bounces back but his lack of composure is a worry. Thought we should have won it at the end with that breakway but wrong pass was chosen Overall, gotta be ple...

It's doing my head in that Hill hasn't said anything about Daryl Murphy or O'Grady. Iles says he popped the question but got nothing back. I'd love to have an idea of when they'll be fit!

Have we signed two crocks?

Re: Will Hill thrill us at the Millers? Rotherham (A) Sat 14 Sep, 3pm

Also, I’m absolutely giving Hill 18 months regardless but his post match comments have somewhat scared me. He’s talking a bit like Coyle did. What we don’t need now is a project. Or a philosophy. What we need is to find a way to be competitive in games ASAP. Restore some pride. Get us looking forwa...

Re: Will Hill thrill us at the Millers? Rotherham (A) Sat 14 Sep, 3pm

Yeah, but as I said, Hill will see what you and I have seen and I'm sure he'll work with Verlinden in the week to get him to defend better. Hill wasn't my choice but he's got enough experience to spot the failings and perhaps realise his approach was too naive from the start yesterday. Let's see and...

... And if we sit back and get battered 5-0 anyway, fans will have a moan then as well and say it's back to the bad-old-days. Hill is an experienced manager - I'm sure he'll work out what went wrong yesterday and what needs to be sorted out before Oxford and Sunderland. Hopefully, by the Sunderland...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Chicksen was very poor and I've read that Bradford fans couldn't wait to get rid of him. Does make me wonder if we'd have been better just going with youth at LB rather than signing him? And then filling one or two other positions instead.
