Apparently its not Meredith, its someone called Chicksen another ex Bradford LB. Bolton Wanderers are pleased to confirm that Adam Chicksen has penned a deal with the club until January. The defender, 27, has previously played for MK Dons, Brighton & Hove Albion, Charlton and Bradford City. He was ...

294 all out? Whadda we think? Reasonable?

I have subjected this question to some in depth analysis and thought and concluded that it's better than 67 all out! You're welcome!

The official photos are dribbling out... clearly we can't afford just to give 'em Wanderers shirts anymore - they'll have to earn their shirts!! :oyea:

I'm going. Who's in?

Here's Keith:

bit of a trek for me... so probably not

sounds like some of the new signings won't make it - which means a further opportunity for the kids to shine, this time with a bit more senior backup... might not be a bad thing! :-)

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

All very fine if the rest of the cricketing world stands still Jimbo. It won't and we'll still just do the best we can and time will come when Britain is fully found out by sheer numbers amongst the opposition and lose test matches against China, Japan and Korea.. We have territorial numbers from t...

Denley's wicket - totally my fault...

turned on cricket - heard that we were 27-0... thought to myself - phew, that sounds OK... next ball, Denley's gone!

I know it's nof helpful or interesting, but I have to admit I have absolutely no idea at all what our strongest starting lineup is!
Hanson, Ball, Banks, Wheeler, Barrass, Bell, Holden Moir, Lofthouse, Hassall, Langton.
Would take this league to pieces...

that'll do me!

That conviction was in the French courts wasn't it? Memorable for Boycott complaining in the middle of the hearing that " everyone was talking in French" :D

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Have we forgotten about Politic as our ACM? I think that's his bettter position and certainly were Salford played him last season If I'm a tired centre back or defensive midfielder 75 minutes into a match, I'd be very concerned at a fresh Politic or Darcy coming off the bench. Both should see plent...

It's not rocket science - it's Geoffrey Boycott! Sir Geoffrey Boycott innit. :) He has a conviction for domestic abuse about which he is totally unrepentant and still casts himself as the victim. You won't catch me addressing him as "sir". (I'm sure he'll be devastated by my boycott!)

Not lost at the end but when Root and Stokes bombed. We were never going to win but a draw was well attainable. Going off for a sulk now .
