Re: The athletics/running thread
Aye. Prince's and Princess's of dogs alright. What she excels at when I take her running is route finding. Never gone wrong with her yet. She just knows instinctively what a path is (she probably smells them) and will run out in front of me until she comes to a junction, and then waits for me to tel...

Re: The athletics/running thread
As you were. Thanks to Little Green Man I'm now technically equipped, so apropos of GGs piccy on p74(? iIrc) here is a pic of my running companion. This was on Gairloch beach. At this point she'd rounded up a whole bunch of runners (well two of them, jogging) going in the opposite direction and was ...

I think the whole site wobbled there for a sec as it tried to upload 50 gigaterabytes of image. The entire continent of North America briefly browned-out as billions upon billions of electronvolts surged from imageshack.USA towards The-Wanderer.co.uk

i think thats what QPR scored against us  That was an anti-goal; the Premiership will only start counting them once the Higgs Boson has been confirmed and UEFA have been paid, but at that point our goal difference will increase by -1 on the against side. I dont know what you're on about half t...

Re: Which Famous People have you met
I once met God. He was flanked by Gabriel, Michael, and a host of Seraphim. He told me to go out and destroy the world. I'm thinking about it. and you'll do it by unleashing the cuckoo clocks and the virulent moss?? 8) I was thinking of using the axe to deadly effect, actually. It's the thought of ...

Stu Francis Ian Gillan Liz Yelling Terry Alderton Vernon Kay and Tess Daley Lenora Critchlow Not massive names but all of them happy to chat for a couple of minutes, apart from Stu Francis who told me to f*ck off . Just misread that, but was impre...

Re: Back in the day.
2 and 3 were full backs. 5 was centre half. 4 and 6 were half backs. 7 amd 11 were wingers. 9 was centre forward. 8 and 10 were inside forwards. 4 an 6 played ahead of the back three. 4 linked up with 7 and 8. 6 linked up with 10 and 11. Or at least that was the theory. Is exactly the way it was. F...
