Cotto Vs Margarito

These guys fight in a few hours. Has the potential to be one of the best fights in history.

Cotto is unbeaten and an amazing boxer, Margarito the best chin i've ever seen. I fancy a Margarito win in the 9th or 10th.

Can't wait!

I'm dissapointed, as I thought this would have been some celebrity death-match style thread, where alcohol takes on cannabis. Or even better, a thread where celebrities ripped off their t*ts on cannabis take on others smashed out their face on alcohol. Oh well. Clearly a smoker

Alcohol Vs Cannabis

This is on the inlay of an album i recieved today by Bonnie Prince Billy, i think it's very true:- Cannabis sativa and its derivatives are strictly prohibited in Turkey, and the natural correlative of this prescription is that alcohol, far from being frowned upon as it is in other moslem lands, is f...

My friends dad in Lostock actually was in the flat earth society. Also, i don't know if connected but he had a plastic moulded chair on a pole 30ft high in his garden - any suggestions what this was for?

I understand the scientific method. I'm not saying that the methods used by scientists and priests to reach their conclusions are related. Rather that the way scientists claim the moral highground and an infallability (of method & perspective) is much the same as the way that priests traditionally h...

Well, Dawkins (& Derren Brown) leads us to believe that any non-rational perspective is dangerous. Fanatacism and fundamentalism indeed are dangerous but are born of the literalisation of religion rather than the world of creative imagination and myth that i am alluding to. There is no danger in a m...

You're not quite seeing my point. No evidence is needed for fairies because they don't literlally exist. Superstring & wormholes were used as examples because they are highly contenscious even within quantum mechanics. They are simply working models that will later be superceded by better models as ...

So there we have it, The Wanderer's conclusion on the origin of the aussie word 'Pom' :- most likely originating from pommegranite, however plausibly disputed, and far from FACT.
