the keeper was no-where, what was he thinking ? ... & I still think a player on the post is vital in these situations. Twas as lucky as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHh11avaIYQ&feature=related I seem to remember Nolan doing something similar a season or two back. Zidane certainly did. Looks ...

It is indeed 90 minutes for your near half grand. And yes, student finance DOES indeed stretch to that, providing I go without the non-essential things, y'know...like books, and pens, and food... What the f*ck do you think you are doing?! Crayons, Verbals, myself, and every other student who has gr...

Cohen was about the right price for what he is. I think most people are making the point that at the very least Megson paid the top-end of going rate for most of those he signed. You know, like £1.5m for a 30 year old full back (when one most definitely was not required) may be deemed to be proflig...

Re: 42 Million
There was an article in the sun last week stating how much has been spent on each squad and if i can remember rightly we are 17th with the only teams that have spent less being Blackburn, Blackpool and West Brom (the entire squad). So everyone moaning about how much money we have spent should take ...

Id love to see him play alongside a proper striker (just like i do with Elmander and Klasnic) I believe he has alot to offer rather than run around like a headless chicken running after balls smashed in the air (bouncing of heads). I remember seeing him and Elmander playing together against Spurs a...

The point of this thread was to ascertain ,why the Reebok is so quiet. I'm not having the fact that we take our kids as an excuse,if that was the case surely all the other grounds would have the same problem! When i go to a match, i actively encourage my son's to get behind our team ...only to glan...

I honestly believe that for the answer, you need only look at attendances. Our fanbase is pish. And then look at the full-blooded roars of the Stoke fans in particular. They create a cauldron of noise that both lifts their own team and intimidates the opposition. We used to be very good at this unde...

I'll take whatever report Prufrock doesn't get from those two, as my debut - it may be slightly rose tinted... You take your pick pal, and I'll do the other, folk have had to deal with my spoutings before, so you take whichever is more interesting to you! Fair enough, no probs. I'll have the opener...

I'm a fan of the 4-5-1 system, where a defensive midfielder sits just in front of the back four, just behind two hard-working but ball-playing central midfielders, two attacking wingers on the flanks and a strong striker up front. Essentially, what we used to play during the days of Allardyce. I'd a...
