Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

In the transfer window we needed a midfield player like Jay Matete who went to Plymouth. if Evatt is any good why not go for Matete instead of Shoretire ?, this is what worries me about Evatt.

And don't tell me we can't compete with Plymouth on fee's & salaries.

On Randell, just as an aside. We're talking about a guy who has barely played in two years.

He's come into a very demanding style of football and picked up niggles as a result. I'm not sure it's entirely fair to write him off at this stage.
So why sign him if he's not ready ?

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

Aye eventually he (Evatt) may get lucky, I can't recall any previous manager signing as many players as Evatt has 6 or 7 every window (he must have signed 20-30 in his time here ?), and most have been shite. League 1 is improving so perhaps its not Evatt but a lack of serious investment from FV that...

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

Well that was grim. Again. Men against boys today. Poor choices and poor decision making all over the park. One positive note - Cameron Jerome did enough in his short appearance to suggest he'll be an upgrade on what we've had up top. Victor certainly isn't on current showing. Bertie - give yer hea...

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

We needed experience in January & some leadership as the team are weak as piss & soft as shit. Did Evatt address this, did he fcuk he thought signing & playing inexperienced kids (Mbete & Shoretire) would do it. Evatt isn't really that good IMO, tactically or managerially. Knee-jerk possibly but som...

So are you saying that transfers in & out are out of his hands ?
I've never said that, nor have I implied it.
So what where you saying Mr know it all.

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

January signings are all poor. That’s glaring now. None of them are in our best 11. And obviously Dapo would be were he here. We are weaker. Evatt's clearly not happy So are you saying that transfers in & out are out of his hands ?, which if so totally contradicts everything that he's said over the...

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

Our midfield shape is appalling, absolutely non existent - I honestly couldn't tell anyone what we are good at as a team, we are not defensive, not attacking, not a passing / possession team, not long ball - what are we as a team. answers on a postcard ? I can say however that we are a team who fcuk...

Hopefully the Evatt 'wankathon' will now stop, he's a average manager who's been quite well backed by the board but isn't that good.

Re: A switch of the (h) Ips and we're gone..Home V THE Tractor Boys Sat 11th Mar. 3-0'clock

It's a common script. Better team picks us off then doesn't even have to be any good to see out the win. We can beat the dross and flatter to deceive, but get found out. Archetypal flat track bullies. Honest and hard-working but not good enough to step up. It's why we'll lose at Wembley and limply ...

Barnsley beating Plymouth. Derby 3-1 up. Good teams find ways. We can’t pass.
We are not a good team though, in comparison with the other top League 1 teams.

Gethin Jones is one of the most over rated players I've known, he's fcuking shite.

Don't think it's anything like as bad as people are making out. Second best certainly, but not terrible. Shoretire is making it like playing with 10, he's just miles off mens football, and it's hurting us in midfield.
I agree so why can't Evatt ?

Why Jones at LWB when we have Declan John & signed a LWB in the window Randall ?

Our tactics are very poor, fcuk about at the back for an age & then just lump it forward.

Mbete ffs, Jones, expect that pass you tit. Defending, atrocious. What are we trying to achieve? The ball is down the channels with no purpose. Losing it in midfield and misplacing the passing all over the park. I don’t know what the plan is. I'm not sure that Evatt does. Ipswich bossing the game I...

Selling 25,000 for this will be an achievement IMO, I'll be very surprised if we sell more than 25k. If the club limit it to 1 per ST it will be a big mistake, it should be a min of 2 per ST holder, possibly even 4 per ST holder if we want to get to 25k. Plymouth are allowing ST holders 6 tickets e...

Tough shit can be used as a way of telling someone that they will have to accept a situation they do not like because they have no choice.
