Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

They're not going to get me on the edge of my seat passing it across the back line. I doubt too many (apart from maybe the odd statistician) is going to stand up and applaud this approach. There's no steamboat tackles flying in, generally, so not going to get too excited by one of those tackles "wa...

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

The form tables are absolutely damning.

Obviously, we have to stick by them and hope we can find something but it's going to take quite the turnaround to do it.

Jerome joins Bod up front.

Presumably Plan B is now activated.

Second half thinking they're going to cruise through to a win. Can't keep turning off thinking it's done.

They'll have their backs up now and probs get a third.

We just never seem to shake off that sense of naivety.

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

We're really good to watch when we play like this, although I'd love to see some variety with the delivery in once we get in behind; it surely doesn't have to be drilled hard and low every time.

I very much like the balance of the back three.

I'm glad Maghoma's starting too.

Remember: Barnsley almost always score, but they also almost always concede. Keep at it, whites.

Iredale has to start next game. He’s been good coming on.
Agree - I like him in our system, he passes well and that helps with the overloads. Not sure who to drop, like...

I think we'd probably have to go with shunting Jones to RWB, wouldn't we?

Collins has been by a distance our biggest attacking threat. Unless he was completely shagged, why the feck would you take him off?

It'll no doubt be based on "the data".

Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm

Even though I understand the logic behind our regular rotating of the starting eleven, there's a question to be asked about how big an impact it's having on individual efforts to find a bit of form and, for want of a better phrase, team synergy.

I'd be tempted to name an unchanged team.

Re: Contract expiry

That's great news on Toal.

I imagine we'll likely have to find out which league we'll be playing in next season before we cam tie down Santos, Sheehan, and Baxter.
