Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?

We've got to get a good 'un sooner or later, haven't we? The people who made the last five appointments won't be making this one, so there is a chance it will be a better appointment. But, given the field we'll probably attract, any appointment is going to have an element of risk attached. As we've...

Re: Lennon out!

The article speculates that Lennon might lose his job with us; it speculates that the Celtic manager might lose his job too; it speculates that, if that happened, then Lennon might be interested in the vacancy; and it speculates that Celtic might be interested in taking him back. Brilliant piece of ...

Re: The run-in

Coz I'm bored: We average 0.7 ppg, so we should expect to gain another 6pts from our final nine games. We average one win every nine games, draw one in three(ish) and lose half. That suggests 1W, 3D, 5L for our 6pts. As it happens, that's exactly our form in the last nine games. If we're going to w...

Aye..it's party time at Fulham. Right good clear out in summer and start thinking about the Johnston Paints Trophy!! Mate, you didn't manage to find us, whilst sat in the same pub in Bolton. How the took are you thinking you'll find Fulham? :-) Don't worry. Enoch will be organising us on the final ...

Actually, they've probably done us a favour. I'd rather the money went into the Lennon pay-off pot rather than on Spearing.

The old heroes were there for the benefit for Paul Jones, for some reason. Hope all is well. As Bobes says, yer modern transfer can have lots of structured payments - monthly, or conditional depending on appearances, goals, international caps, promotions, trophies etc. Usually happens when the buye...

Re: The End is Nigh - Preston (H) 12 Mar @ 15:00

Spearing must be carrying a knock. Not to have him on the bench otherwise would be silly.....oh, er.... From Lennon's post-match comments: "On Jay Spearing’s omission from the team… We had to leave him out today because if he had played we were due to pay Liverpool an amount of money. Again, that i...
