Re: Fulham on Sunday - FA Cup
We looked very solid and have a good chance of getting to the finals. In fact, I believe we can. Birmingham will be distracted by their relegation battle and league Cup finals. Arsenal or Man U will go out next round, and with luck, one of them will play Man City in the semis. That would leave us wi...

Re: Elmander - "No obligation" to Bolton
I was expecting him to leave during the transfer window in January, but his performences nose dived recently which seems to have caused a few suitors to change their minds, hence no offers. He must have been disappointed by that, as we no doubt were, since it was the best shot we had of recouping a ...

Re: Bolton Wanderers vs Tottingham Hotspur
With the luck we are having we may just nick it in the 2nd half! Holden and Mark Davies are playing like total strangers to each other, and Elmander is completely lost and not hlping Ricketts with Lennon at all. I believe OC has made a mistake playing him out there. He needs to fix it quickly with L...

Re: Strike Partnership
For me, KD is still our best striker. He brings more to the team than the others..aerial power, strength, defends well, holds up the ball well to bring others in, and is not as slow as people may believe.
Himself with Sturridge for me.

Re: Bolton v Wolves
I think Rodrigo is being played out of position. He is a 2nd striker with the explosive pace, skill and shot to do well there. Better suited in Elmanders position instead of the wing. He is uncomfortable out there and is taking its toll. He was awful yesterday but is a much better player than that.

They are there for the taking with their midfield slaughtered by injuries .. 1-2 Bolton (Sturridge and LCY)

Does pairing Knight and Wheater today and not Cahill with Wheater suggest that Cahill will be on his way before Monday night ?

Re: January transfer window...
Vela...very good skillful exciting player. Brings us something different to what we currently have. Hope Wegner says yes...can we guarantee him games..no... Only possibly West Brom and Wolves who are struggling for goals at the moment could do that. It would really be up to Vela himself. However, th...

Re: Al-Habsi to leave
as the season goes on, i tend to lean towards al habsi to be between the sticks Not me. The more I see Al Habsi, the more I see why Jussi was aleays number 1. Ali is a good keeper, a great shot stopper but not good dealing with crosses, and remains rooted (give up) far too often when seemingly beat...

Re: January transfer window...
Anyone know if there is any cash for us or has he been given away? I would be surprized if it wasn't a free transfer. It would allow AOB to get good wages at Leeds and free up his wages for us to sign C.Davies or Wheater, both young centre backs as his replacement, and to understudy Cahill before h...

Re: Wanderers v Liverpool
It was always going to be a difficult game with our injury problems, and liverpool being much the fresher of the 2 sides over the Christmas period due to their postponed fixtures. I thought we did well and once again cruelly suffered a heartbreaking loss, but the starting players can hold their head...

Re: The Trotters vs Mighty Russian Empire (Chelski away)
We played well. Cant fault any of the players who gave it their all. I thought Taylor, Cahill, Robo, Ricketts and Knight did very well and Moreno looked very promising. Another couple of games to come to terms with the pace of the English game, and we will have a match winner on our hands. Drogba ma...
