Maybe five-a-side would be better after Sunday. Looked like we conceded goals from a five-a-side match.

I guess it's a drop in the ocean compared to the poor Stoke chap who apparently died on the trip back (?)

Re: Semi Final Match Thread
You don't buy tickets on some kind of performance related basis though. Stoke fans shouldn't have to pay their team bonuses, for example. They were an embarrasment, but shit happens. There's nothing they can do now other than perform in the league. And that won't be any kind of consolation. I like ...

I like it - nothing like a little playful self-deprecation. It sets us apart too.
Guess it works better for us with the syllable count and 'w' alliteration.

To add.. how we didn't get a penalty for Huth manhandling Davies I'll never ever know.
Oh yes, Howard Webb, of course.

Re: Semi Final Match Thread
It was weird, this game. Just like the Carling Cup final too. I watched with a real detachment (unintentionally) - feeling increasingly numb as the goals went flying in.
Even on my other away trips (and defeats) I've never felt this. I never felt so detached.
