Derek sounds like he’s broadcasting from twenty thousand leagues under the sea.

Re: Financiers, investors and white knights: What next for FV?

Michael Edwards is supposedly on the verge of taking over football operations at Liverpool again. I’d hazard a guess that this means he’s not going to be overly involved with us.

Yeah I’ll caveat that by saying he might’ve been shite in training and is not in Evatt’s thoughts. However, he was playing for Aberdeen when he was very young and Liverpool paid good money for him, so don’t have too many concerns over his ability to kick straight etc.

I’m in the opposite camp and feel now is the time to be bold. We’ve brought a talented wing back in from Liverpool - let’s use him.

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

Coleman Toal Santos Iredale Sheehan Ramsay Maghoma Thomason Williams Vic Collins I realise Evatt, and probably most of you lot, will pick Jones at RWB, however, I feel that with the extra defensive solidity of Toal at RCB we can afford to play a proper wing back in front of him. Jones is a solid rig...

Tickets are actually still available for this one, but the trains from the smoke look dear and my Mrs might not be best pleased at being left in the lurch with the kids. Still tempted to do it after last night, though...

Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm

Dion was in terrible form before he got injured, but hopefully the time out will do him good and playing with someone like Collins will bring out the best in him. Did Evatt say he's likely to be back for Saturday?

I’m also in favour of starting Iredale at Exeter, and would be leaving Jones out. If JDC is injured then Ramsay gets his chance.

Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm

Collins has been by a distance our biggest attacking threat. Unless he was completely shagged, why the feck would you take him off?
