Thanks very much Crazy, I have read that and i think i understand.

Basically I can get the CBT thingy and ride for up to 2 years a bike up to 125cc with L plates. Then I take my test in that time.

No I have done nothing with bikes for approx 12 years, i much prefer cars but needs must. I travel to work cross country, no main roads, and i am not looking to get a sooped up 1000 cc thingy just something to get me to and from work total distance 30 miles round trip. So I guess i don't have a CBT ...

St Albans is lovely, just thought I would mention it ! I have been in a pub, I think it was ST Albans, that was owned by the guy who played the gay actor type person in It ain't half hot mum. Can't remember his name but he sounded gay in real life.
