Re: Time to go

I mean, are people forgetting that we're missing our two best players (by a country mile) AND the replacement for Steinsson (who everyone hates now)? Take away the two best players from any team and they struggle, do it to a team that has no money and a thin-average squad, and it's obvious what will...

Re: Time to go

Been away from the forums for a while, kinda surprised to come back and see this thread. What are we now, Newcastle fans? We're about to go up against the side that devastated us mentally, and if we manage to beat them, it could be season defining. But beyond that, who the fecking feck is out there ...

Re: Honestly what needs to be done ?

Petrov does what Petrov does. He always fires the ball in first time, no messing about. The problem is that our attack is so lead footed that while he's firing it in they're not even across the half-way line. He's doing the right thing just not at the right time. I actually see his qualities But, s...

Re: Swans v Trotters

Wanderers: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Wheater, Gardner, Eagles, Reo-Coker, M Davies, Pratley, Petrov, Ngog subs: Bogdan, Robinson, Knight, Muamba, K Davies, Klasnic, Kakuta Interesting! Nearly Christmas and Coyle still has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA of his strongest 11. Muamba must have fecked Coyle'...

Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread

Rented Dark Soul and Rage. Spent 10 mins on Dark Soul trying to work out the worlds most complex UI - really didn't grab me. Then started Rage. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the whole "post apocalypse" landscape stuff. Not really my scene. That said, I'm still chugging through it. It looks good and pla...

Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread

I am really confused what to buy, I don't like to spend a lot of money on games because I don't get to play them as much as I like. So its a toss up between: GoW3 Battlefield 3 PES Rage. What should I go for?! I like the idea of PES because I haven't had a football game in ages, but I simply love m...

Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread

Rage is the most amazing looking Xbox 360 game. Unbelievable! Not sure yet whether it's any good like only played for 5 minutes! Worth seeing it though if not buying! It's one of *the* best looking games full stop. Moment to moment combat, it's ace - it's all the inbetween stuff that isn't as superb.

Yet Robinson is one of very few who *hasn't* been dropped, or changed this season.

Everywhere else had seen Coyle experiement, but not left back.

Re: Bolton vs Chelsea

Robinson = Coyle's best mate. Petrov = Not. Weird how one of them NEVER gets dropped, or subbed, no matter how shite they play, all the time. I don't think Robbo is as disastrous as most people seem to... I do think Retrov is a defensive vacuum... I think we are fortunate to have Ricardo fit and mu...

Exactly.

Pratley has more to offer than NRC for me.

Re: Bolton vs Chelsea

yeah and chelsea ripped us apart down that left hand side he's a liability if he dont want to graft drop the cvnt ,eagles and tuncay can play there in that setup infact that's what he should started with instead of davo and petrov Being ripped apart down the left is not ONLY Petrov's fault. Just be...

Re: Bolton vs Chelsea

He took N'Gog off because he was exhausted.

We weren't going to get back into it, so better that we take off a player before he pulls something through exhaustion.

Petrov is the only place our attack was coming from too, can't take him off.

The non-knee jerking "Where next" thread

So, the run of fixtures is over, and let's be honest - apart from Norwich, most of the scorelines weren't unexpected. What is important though, is that we've learn something about our set of players, given the rotation that Coyle has used. Jussi is always going to be the keeper, Bogdan looked nervou...

Re: Bolton vs Chelsea

Let's not kid ourselves that we expected anything less than a hammering though. It's been bothering me for ages, but it's really being shown up - our full backs are terrible. If we keep playing Robinson, Petrov can ONLY be played up front, because we may as well play Robinson/Gardner, or Robinson/Al...

Re: Bolton vs Chelsea

Pratley, Cahill and N'Gog have done well. The rest can feck off, especially BOTH our full backs. I know Robinson is on his own a lot, but he ALWAYS blames Petrov, even when he's just been done for pace. Petrov could play left wing, but only if we had a capable, quick left back who does anything othe...

Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread

Plenty. I've played FIFA and was talking about a bug that I had found. How can I comment on Pro and any potential bugs when it hasn't been released? Right, but I am playing PES and am talking about bugs I have found. I was merely trying to point out that you're constant posting about how shite FIFA...
