Re: Who'll parade their plonkers at the Rodney? - Newport away April 5th, 3pm

I'm no football brain or tactician but I think we had success in the first half and were so effective down the wings because Newport played 3 at the back. Looks like they reverted to a 4-4-2 at half time and seemed to nullify anything we tried. They brought a centre-half off for a midfielder at hal...

There's no way they could've given that.

What an absolute sickener, it feels like we've beaten ourselves. There's still plenty to play for, though.

I'm not quite sure why we haven't yet made any changes. What are we waiting for?

It sounds like we're about to make them.

I wonder if Lee would've missed that second chance if he hadn't missed the first?

A good half of football, but I desperately hope we don't pay the price for not being clinical.

Now, with Sarce's absence being felt, would be a good time for Maddison to show his worth. He could have a pivotal role to play.

Re: Scrambled Easter eggs. V Colchester at the Unibol, Friday 1-o'clock

Surely iFollow can sort this? Bloody annoying Yeah, its pretty poor to have it out of sync for another game. Could understand it if it was a one off. A half second delay in the muxer is all that's needed. Simple but will they do it? The fact the away commentary isn't ahead of the play makes me thin...

I agree on the midfield, though. I think we have to keep the Williams-Lee partnership together.

I think FGR played well that first half hour of second half...we sucked the belief out of them and the subs were well timed. Superb.

Despite dominating possession and territory they didn't create very much at all, did they?

It's a real testament to our defensive organisation.

A brilliant cross and finish. That's what that bit of quality does.

I'm not sure how we benefit from splitting up the Lee/Williams partnership.

Re: Meat Dodgers v Fee Doidgers - FGR away, Sat 27/3 live on the tele @ 12pm

Is it not a slight change of shape?

A 4-3-3 fits that starting line-up more comfortably than a 4-2-3-1 does.

Re: Will it be Balsall from Walsall? Sat 20/3/22 (h) 15:00

It's the starting line-up I think most of us were expecting. There's probably an argument for being slightly bolder and starting Gnahoua ahead of Isgrove considering the quality of the pitch and the form the opposition have been in, but I won't grumble.
