Bolton can pass! When did this happen?

Villa didn't seem like a top 6 side but they weren't poor. Without those saves from Alnwick and that goal-line clearance from Flannigan that would be a draw or a loss.

Never been so happy to be watching a game indoors.

Re: The Weather

Car wouldn't start, recovery people jumped it and needed a new battery. Had to pick the other half up at about 9.30pm. Having driven out and back previously and now having a new battery I was confident I could at least get out of my drive... "was". Struggled. Turned TRC off and whacked it in second ...

Tierney was a real shame. I think I was at the game he got injured in, surprisingly.

Re: What Car - suggestions please

Yeah. I mean these are basically cars for middle aged/semi-old men like me who want something very comfortable but don't care what it is - (and mothers taking their kids to school who think an SUV means they can do what they like ). Isn't that all SUV drivers!? :D Well another KIA has just gone out...

It feels a little bit like When LSL was manager and PG was saying how much better the football was. I'd love some pretty football! Might actually go to some games then once it gets a bit warmer.

Edit... probably a bad example, I mean like LSL but hopefully winning games... or pre-BSA.

There was the stat that BWFC has not won a game without Madine since April 2016... before this game. I have not fact-checked that stat, and it may be just in the league, but... wow!

Re: Contract expiry

Any Amos sightings recently? He should be doing something for £16kpw, no? Ken said that whatever he offered Madine would have made him the highest earner at the club. If Amos is on £16kpw then surely it'd be above that. Or, if Amos is technically no longer at the club it would be higher than Pratley...

Someone said they've been a long ball team for the past 10 years under every manager. It's the only way they can play etc. I didn't notice any speculative hoofs out of defense at all last night... after "20 minutes of training"! One definitely needs a target man if you're going to hoof it down the m...

BN saying £6M for Madine... that was the figure KA said originally, no? I'm guessing there will be add-ons.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

If I'm reading that right, financially our house is in better order now, than most? Borough, Brentford and Forest are in danger of becoming the next basket cases? I wonder what the lowest ratio in the league is. Does any club spend less than 50% of their turnover on wages? If Iles is right about wa...

What you actually mean is, you can't tw@t long balls from the back at Assombalonga and expect him to win them
If he played for Bolton he'd have to learn!

It sounds like Ken has noticed that some people are voting with their feet, so I'm curious if/when anything will change. It's possible there is some kind of plan for January. I'm sure there's not the money to buy a big name but there may be some kind of plan, right?

Re: Bolton v Burton, who'll show their true pedigree and who'll end up bitter? H Sat 16/Dec

Now, I understand the idea that we can't go toe-to-toe with Wolves or whoever. I even understand people being scared of underachievers like Sunderland and Birmingham waking up. And this is not a rant against Burton, to whom I wish all the best except when it affects my team. But really, if we can't...

Was there a massive difference between the PNE game and the games before the international break? Winning against Norwich, for example.
