Re: The Royal Baby
But well, i don't think I can blame those DJs anymore than I can blame the royal family for creating the ridiculous hysteria that leads to these situations. And how exactly do the royal family create the ridiculous hysteria that leads to these situations, you absolute gobshite? Again with the perso...

Re: The Royal Baby
This is incredibly sad. I think trying to blame a couple of DJs from across the world for a call that the clearly did fully expecting to get nowhere is IMO ridiculous given the facts we have to hand. Firstly they rang up clearly for a laugh, however you might want to view that it was basically inten...

I'm spending the afternoon mooching around newspaper articles from 2010 slating Cook. I was one of his biggest critics back then, but how things have changed! aye... step forward Mr Boycott!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/international/england/7950807/Geoffrey-Boycott-keeping-Alastair-Co...

Re: The Politics Thread
I'll do some digging for you, but I'm not entirely sure we can just organise our own agreements that would better what we have as part of the EU without the WTO (World Trade Organisation) giving that the ok.. They act as intermediaries like the Monopolies commission.. They're notorious bastards. I ...

Re: Villa want £2 million for Warnock
I think the stat is, that full backs see more of the ball and in more space than anyone else in the side. Which is why the likes of Ashley Cole who can attack and defend and is quick have been so valuable.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
I'm just looking for signs that we're clearly better off. I'm not really seeing it to be honest. But despite the argument that he's "only been here 5 minutes", I'd expect to see us improve after a couple of games. They should be playing with more hunger, desire, a better tempo. But we're not. We're...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
But have we improved? I know it's early days but people are talking like we've seen substantial improvement... I'm sure Eddie couldn't give a feck that our centre backs are clearing more headers away and getting more blocks etc, or that the midfield is less open or whatever, as ling as we're clocki...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
As norm has said hoboh, what was Gartside meant to do when appointing Freedman? Say "feck it we can't go up anyhow now"? He'd have got hammered for that. What he actually said when Freedman was appointed on the radio was that there was "no pressure from him or Eddie for promotion but that Freedman w...
