Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

Shit me, that's a terrible decision. . https://twitter.com/bwfcbwfc/status/1761427702874099796 Looks like a foul to me. Left leg possibly winning the ball first, but he's clipped the players legs. What frustrates me is that even if it was a penalty, its a triple punishment sending the player off. P...

Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

It's not. And it's definitely not a red. We'll win that appeal. Again.

Bent bastard. There's only so much you can do when the ref won't let you win

Re: North by North West. Away to Blackpool Sat 24th Feb, 3-0'clock

Refs been shite. We've been great going forward and awful defensively.

Can't keep conceding goals that easily and expect to win enough games.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Read something that they'd picked the spinners for this partly based on their release point, i.e. both relatively tall so hoping for uneven bounce.

It's a fecking minefield. You're in the lap of the gods. Batting first (or not being last) is what you want but when it can do anything at any time you'd go first and then hope for the best.

Oh and I'd go as far saying that Sheehan is possibly the best player in the division. He's in a world of his own right now and is actually starting to look out of place I agree. There are times when he gets overrun on the break but that's about set up for me. If you're wanting a Sheehan but with ph...

Footballs a weird game! I missed the first 14 minutes. Turned on just after we'd gone 1 down expecting the worst and then didn't come on until after. I thought we were excellent! As good as we've played in a long time. Controlled the first half but the final ball was off, and then stepped up again s...

Performance in general was far from good, but I didn't think it was awful. You just can't concede soft goals like that. Doesn't matter how good you are.

Re: Wandering, Why come back home? Bolton v Wycombe - 13th Feb 2024 19:45pm

Far from vintage, pretty dreadful game, but a win is a win. They're no mugs so it's a good win. Dion is a worry. He's obviously been off it recently but he's at important to what we do. Fingers crossed he's ok. Geth head and shoulders for me, JDC best of the rest. Need to back it up ahead of a trick...

Re: A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

The lack of appeal for foul and abusive reds seems odd to me particular given I think Evatt has already had one of those rescinded (maybe it's different for managers). I can see how it would be tough (but not impossible) to prove you didn't say it, but I can't see how they justify it if e.g. the 4th...

Re: A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

I think he clocks the pass is behind him and goes to get his body in the way and flick it round the corner, but he's expecting to get his body in the way of George just closing him down, not flying through the air like he's in Tekken. I'm assuming he's right footed given the effort with his left foo...

Re: A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

Sounds like he did it in the game on Tues. I'm not convinced he actually touched it with his hands, and certainly didn't have a meaningful save to make. So I'm assuming it's something from kicking long. As a ref, what's your view on the Thomason red Pru. ? See, I have a theory that the Cobbler's me...

Re: A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

Baxter long term reading between the lines….not good. But keeper aside it’s time the rest stood up to be counted and firstly we need to stop conceding soft goals clean sheet or we are in trouble. Sounds like he did it in the game on Tues. I'm not convinced he actually touched it with his hands, and...

Re: A Load of Cobblers. Away to Northampton Sat, 10th Feb.3-0'clock.

I'd have snapped your hand off for that at half time. Good character, but we can't keep making it uphill for ourselves.

Ref was diabolical, but probably better than us.
