Re: Not between the lines...V Reading at home Monday Apr 1st 3-0;clock
Tremendous win. Should have been out of sight by half time. We were really unlucky to not have scored at least four. Disappointing to have conceded two, but that's a minor concern. Strikers put five away between them and linked up well - that's the headline. Crowd was really quiet for most of the ga...

However at least Dave the Minion (aka Ian Evatt) & Mar will be happy as in their opinion Evatt can't do anything wrong. The only way that I'm renewing my ST if we are still in League 1 next season is if the manager isn't Evatt. Seriously??? This is hilarious... In case you need it spelling out, I'm...

Don't take this the wrong way Ian (sorry Dave) but I really don't care about your opinion, approval / welcome etc. The fact is I have only enjoyed a handful of games over the past 2 seasons under Evatt. most games send me to sleep, the football is turgid, boring, slow, predictable, robotic. With th...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.
5 minutes to save the season again. People are annoyed but I’ve watched thousands of football games. I’ve seen teams be better without ever really threatening too much and the keeper make a few saves. It’s not surprising what happened. It’s gutting but predictable. The difference between these two ...

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm
But Evatts interview didn’t scream to me ‘we are confident and full of belief and it’s heads down to prove it’. Evatt could do his interview and scream ‘we are confident and full of belief and it’s heads down to prove it’ and our fans would pick that apart too. Full scale autopsy going on and that'...

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm
The thing that's killing us this season isn't goal scoring. It's not failing to take opportunities. It's that the defensive elements that have been so stellar these last couple of years have suddenly fallen apart. Only one clean sheet in the league since beating Cheltenham at the end of January.

Worth noting that next nearest challengers Peterborough were also goalless at the oranges.

Can only assume that Ashworth also doubles as a defensive midfield option on that subs bench. It was supposedly mooted as a potential role for him last summer. It's a bit wimg-back-heavy otherwise...

loved that. We absolutely battered them. unlucky not to win it. Unlucky not have been playing against 9 men for most of the 2nd half. Unlucky not to have had the opportunity to miss 3 penalties I'm delighted for the players, but fvck me, they look disgruntled with the fans. Most heading down the tu...

I don't think I know what's acceptable or not anymore. Strikes me that the sort of barbed criticism DSB has quoted is hardly likely to endear a player to the club or the fans. Don't disagree that it might well not endear a player to the club and we all draw lines in different places. I wouldn't pos...
