At last the wait could be over. Takeover expected to be completed tomorrow. Seems like the final hurdle has been cleared.

Re: Administration and recovery

Christ I'll be glad to get back to bitching about the football. My (probably forlorn)hope now, is that sense of relief at what we've nearly lost, results in more bums on seats and a positive, supportive siege mentality amongst the fans Reading some of the stuff on Twitter, I doubt that. I'm with yo...

For those that doubted my thinnest grape vine links "Good news at last for Bolton. I'm told that the PFA are to lend the club's prospective new owners around £2m to settle outstanding debts with football creditors (players etc). Paves the way for takeover to go through at last. Re: Administration and recovery

I imagine the PFA lending us money to facilitate squad building could be... controversial. I don't care really if they've got the money to build a full squad now, I just want them to have the money to run it solvently. If it takes a couple of years of footballing pain to get us in the straight and ...

@MarcIles
One (hopefully) final update tonight. I understand the FV consortium has agreed to loan money from the PFA to settle with all football creditors.
I think this will roll into tomorrow, assuming EFL give blessing. #bwfc

Re: Administration and recovery

How's are the major creditors asking for more money? It's in black and white on the accountants/admin spreadsheet regarding who is owed what. It was all in the report they published two days ago, the only thing different is that the Curious Orange is claiming £7.5m instead of the listed £1.5m. A cla...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Start with younger players, build from that. Keeping Joe Muscatt and Harry Brockbank would be essential. Add Sam Stubbs (CB) and Nat Phillips(CB) with Wheats here to add experience. didn't Nat Phillips jump ship a couple of years back and joined Liverpool ?? Sort of. He was released by BWFC and he ...
