Re: General Chit Chat
Yep, they've gone up. Most are now £12-£13. with so called premium brands around £15. As a retailer I hate them. Thousands of pounds tied up in them and they carry a margin of around 3-4% for most. If you must damage your internals then at least vape as I can at least earn a decent wedge out of it ...

Re: General Chit Chat
Seen today on BBC News: The average price of a packet of cigarettes today is £14-39. Way back when we were kids. My dad only ever bought 10 Woodbines; they were One shilling and fourpence halfpenny. I haven't smoked for the best part of 15 years (cost played a big part in packing in) but I ...

Back from The Emirates after a very painful 96 minutes of football. Thankfully the 97th minute made up for the previous 96! Buzzing now. I love football! (The pulled pork roll I had on the way back to the station was pretty darn awesome too!) Football's fickle face. Three games ago we were looking ...

£2.50 per ticket transaction plus £1.50 per ticket for you to print at home........so an extra £4 per ticket for them not to do anything other than take your order.......
Gotta love Ticketmaster.
As for those complaining......... imagine how bad it'll get if we make the play off finals.........

I wasn't worried about losing that game. Certainly not after the first 20 minutes. But I did fear they would try and ride it out for penalties. Fortunately our pressing after the break exposed their vulnerabilities and our confidence improved. More shots from outside the box than I've seen recently....

Last weekend I went to see a band called Robert Jon and the Wreck at the Met Centre in Bury. I didn't know much about them other than a few tracks on the radio but they sounded like one of the types of music I like (Southern Rock with a Blues twist). I was very pleasantly surprised. Re: The athletics/running thread
Accidentally ran 10 miles yesterday. I've started running with some of my tri group on Wednesday evenings. Our usual run leader didn't make it so I was asked if I knew a route. Suggested that we do a loop which (in my head) was about 6 miles. Started from the stadium and ran down CNR to Regent Road ...

Biggest supported club in the 4th division
Morning, can't see a thread anywhere else so thought I'd start this thread.
WTF is happening at Manchester City? Are they set to do a Juventus?
Will it pretty much gift the Premier League title to Arsenal?

We are still missing large swathes of the community, though. This. Absolutely. 100% The guy I sit next to teaches at a primary school with a predominantly Asian intake who, he says, feel somewhat ostracised when it comes to football. How? Why? This is utterly ridiculous! Do you think a large part of...
