Re: Why bother?
Must admit I find it all a bit strange, when people post during games that they are not at, to vent and react to goals etc Personally, I do but relate commentary for the benefit of those with no match source. It sure won't bother me not to post at all and just listen. Crack on TD. You give us up to...

Probably the defense were moving towards the tunnel, or looking around to see the shortest way off the pitch. I would imagine even in the days of Sam we give away goals in the dying seconds, it's the only real thing we do on a consistent basis. Oh well, there's always another game.

Terry Naylor, Spurs and Charlton
Had a drink the other night with Terry Naylor, ex-Spurs and Charlton. Had nothing but praise for the Trotters and we talked long about the 60s 70s and 80s compared to today. Ended his career after micro-managing a lower league club and went to work as a postman. No millionaires in those days. Gentle...

Re: R.I.P the thirty-three
I was there on my uncle's shoulders. It was a 2nd birthday treat and I didn't really know what had happened until I was a teenager. Seems like Liverpool and Sheffield get the publicity but not Bolton. RIP the 33. 8) Dujon and I both turned two in 1946 but I think you are the old man if your birthda...

One can only surmise that if it came to the crunch EHD would have pasted Carragher all over the field.

Dervite in the book. Their Charlton two fouls in a 5 minute spell and no card. Bit of onesidedness methinks.

No retaliation. Wait until the end and turn backs on the Reading lot leaving the pitch. Tossers!

Re: After the last match, Reading the riot act - match threa
Remember the game against Reading when their unfair play galvanised our team to win the playoffs? About time we showed that same spirit. Let's give 'em crap.

Re: After the last match, Reading the riot act - match threa
One would imagine that there has been no deliberate attempt to injure any of our players, but just in case one would hope that all eyes would be on the play that led up to those injuries. Seems a lot in a short space of time. Now for some consolidation, a bit of backbone and an improvement in finish...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)
Watched this in an Arsenal pub and the Gunners were cheering us on apart from the odd one or two. Three scouse supporters we spoke to afterwards thought there should have been a sending off and none could understand why Stevie should have been sitting watching the game instead of playing. On a sligh...

Re: The Norwich away, match thread
Wonder if Bolton council will be advising Norwich about advantages of having a 'European boulevard'. Been all across Norfolk and some are good and some are bad, some are just feckin helpless! Adam and Eve on the riverside used to be a goodly boozer but a while since I was in there. And just because ...

And he has a fax in his pocket to prove/disprove it. But £40 Million? Does that mean ED is ready to lose £120 Million? Or will it be just the ground sold and the rest of the complex kept by ED? Scrub the green curry and lets have another look at that fish again.

They're bobbing along in 12th and I hope they continue to do so. After Christmas, the wheels will come off and the cluck-clucks will be pecking around for some corn. Can't believe he doesn't know Burnley are in the Prem so a more successful town club. QPR although in London are more Acton Town than ...

Could she get it for a peppercorn with a private undertaking with Eddie to repay him. I'm not sure, not a feckin clue in fact. How do the big BIG teams get away with spending millions and seem to get no penalties but as soon as we get a few bob, buy a player and come close to getting fined? Is this ...
