Re: The Peacock: I lost all respect for Big Sam

Good man for not making a fuzz in the press at the time the promise was broken.

As for the decision it was probably the right one by Sam, Henrik was not exactly a key player at that time. But obviously the promise should never have been made.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

My almost hometown club Brøndby had both Peter Schmeichel and Brad Friedel on the books in the early 90's. Pretty decent scouting that.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

The four of them are all earning top money, but they are all very much at the centre of the Wolves decline. O'Hara being lazy, Ward being terrible, Henry and Johnson being straight up disruptive bordering on mutiny. Cnuts the lot of them. Stay well clear! O'Hara used to be decent, Johnson also. At t...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

The one major difference is that there is some fight in the lads again.

They seemed to be such a bunch of pathetic losers in the end of the Coyle era.

Now a little setback is countered by fight, before by capitulation.

Must be Dougies impact, and what a difference it has made.

Another Gudni? No way, but he is rock solid when at his best. It's been a while though.

Yes, I understand your concern. It's been a full four days since the sacking, we've played zero games.

We might never get a manager, it's a LSL and Jiminho for life.

Thank dog he's gone. He was not the words manager in my time. Sammy Lee - former AND current manager - what a streaming pile of shit he was. Credit where credit's due.

What evidence do we have that he'd 'mope around'.. By all accounts he's happy here and we're paying him quite a bit more than what Swansea could/would offer.. None. But something is definately wrong with his attitude and professionalism if he's gotten fat under the summer break. It's less than two ...

Re: mark davies

Don't forget the huge sell on wolves would take from whatever we sell him for when calculating whether we'll have enough for a suitable replacement. Have we any idea, by way of percentage, what that sell-on is? Even if it's 25% it's still a net profit of £3m, which should be plenty for a decent rep...

Re: mark davies

Still, if he returns all fat and useless from a couple of months off, surely his motivation (and his value) is less than desired.

He did ok last year, but £5m. for a fat demotivated player is not too bad. I'd much rather cash in than seeing him shame the club, unfit and disinterested.

Bolton 5 Aston Villa 2. The team was great, the performance was great and the goals were great, add in the fluke goal by Angel and the double offside goal and there was just so much to talk about. I don't think i'll ever see a better game. Bicycle kick goal, two free kick goals by Okocha, one of wh...

Mills seem to be a sensible signing with very little risk. Zat Knight?

Zat Knight might be good enough for the Championship. He was so shite last year though and I'd much prefer not being reminded of his shiteness, so I'd rather get rid of him.

You're right, your goal should never have been allowed. And in a six pointer too.

Anyway here's hoping your money bag owner doesn't lose interest or you might be a cricket club this time next year.
