My question is, when Murphy is fit, who gets dropped? Obviously he has to replace Buckley up top, but I wouldn't necessarily want to lose him from the team (who'd have thunk it). Nice problem to have.
Has Murphy ever shown enough to waltz straight back in?
Meant Daryl.

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

I personally disagree with giving Zouma a free pass on this one. Me and my mate said when Zouma came on that he's got a mistake in him. He needs to sort that stuff out and be more consistent. Apparently, he was error-strewn for the U23s as well. I've also read that Hill blasted him for not being re...

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

Well, according to Iles we're striker-less for a third time. If we string together a few draws that could have been wins here, I can see this being a big regret come the end of the season. Do wonder why we haven't used another slot to get a free agent in. Is that cause of the embargo?

Re: Jack fell down and Hill came tumbling after. Sunderland @ Home. 21/09/2019 3pm

After Tuesday, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. A similar level of performance and we could get our first win. Similar to Rotherham and it could be another gubbing. Hopefully we have one of the new strikers available for selection. Same. Last match was one of the most entertaining Bolton mat...

Re: Grabbing life by the bullocks. Oxford (H) 17.9.19 KO 8pm

Wasn't at the latest hammering but, although that sounds like a undeniable defensive shocker, if we don't give opposition anything to think about up front, the job at the back is always going to be infinitely harder. How we remedy that with zero senior strikers I don't know.

Re: The next manager

We always talk ourselves down in terms of attractiveness to managers, but we are a decent proposition. Could be a great journey for an ambitious young manager. Not much money but minimal pressure and not having to work with the last manager's sloppy seconds. I feel the thing holding us back is near...

Re: The next manager

I thought he said he wouldn't be manager without some serious high rollers but might take some background role. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I were him. Down the road, desk job but with influence, chance to rebuild from scratch (maybe he'd resent having lost what he built originally). Consider it an ...

Re: The next manager

Are we thinking we'll be getting a DoF as well? Allardyce DoF and Nolan manager would be incredibly feel good - and you'd think that Big Sam would fill any gaps Kev has in terms of networking, contact book and clout at the negotiating table. But then I'm obviously being incredibly nostalgic and perh...

Re: Cemetery Road? Not on our shift...Rochdale away Int Cup, 7-45 Tues 13-Aug.

Taking the positives, we have made progress in each game - first time on the pitch, first clean sheet, first goals... And this season we will have more bright young sparks in our team than ever before, building well for the future. I'd like to see Edwards, Brockbank, Politic, Zouma and Darcy feature...

Re: Administration and recovery

When it comes to Bolton Wanderers, nothing screams 'the match may very well not go ahead' as 'the match is definitely going ahead'. Worrying times.

Cheers DJBlu. Do they have video for every match or just select?

Re: The official Bolton Stream/Radio link thread.

Not sure if this is the right place but I'm thinking about signing up to iFollow. What does it offer people in the UK but not in Bolton? Can you still watch matches? How frequently do they have audio/video? And is it any good!

Re: If Bolton Wanderers imploded tomorrow...

This is feeling very real now. Especially following EFL's order to Bury. Anyone had any other thoughts on life after BWFC now that it could well be round the corner?

Re: Administration and recovery

I fear for the future of the club more now than at any other time. If the club fulfills it's first few games I'll be surprised. I can see FV getting really peed off and pulling out. Does that leave the way for Bassini or will the club be liquidated. I personally can't see how the club can participa...

Re: Administration and recovery

Yep all I’m getting is ‘deal is more complex than it appears and takes time but everyone is relaxed’. Bit too f*cking relaxed for my liking - season starts a fortnight on Saturday and we're already operating under at least a four-win handicap I’m the same. But equally this is a deal involving milli...

Re: Administration and recovery

What I meant was, FV want the hotel otherwise they aren't so keen on the club anymore. That's how I've interpreted what I've read. Whether it's true or not... Either way, I'm going to sit down tonight and work out who's on which panic station. What is this, Monopoly? Anybody can buy a fxcking hotel...
