That performance was absolute dog shite. Hoof each time a player got the ball straight to the opposition. Well played Preston you gave our lads a lesson. Hope they learned something from it.

All depends on team selection and whether Parky decides to send out a team to attack them. Sit back and they'll win.
I'd start Le Fondre because who else will score goals, and scoring goals is the problem.

Damn good point against what I thought were the best visiting team this season by far.
A nice two fingers up to Parky by Le Fondre who looked sharp when he came on.
Continue like this and we'll stay up.

Re: The Promotion Commotion Transfer Thread 2017
Will we miss Madine? Of course we will. He's a striker scoring goals in a poor side which does attract other clubs. Will he be a success at Cardiff? who knows. I have never been a Madine lover and would have been glad to have seen him gone pre season but, he proved me and many more wrong. We got som...

Chungy did nowt for us last time he was here so I can't see him doing anything special. Crap player in my view.

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
Struggle to kill teams off may well be our downfall. Ipswich in my opinion were poor but, in patches they were made to look better than they were. They also could have won it at the end. Some may settle for a point but that was two dropped.

They looked a damn good side when they came here but, we have improved since. Although I don't hold much hope for us stranger things in football happen now and again.

Shall not be venturing on anymore away games after that. Sick of watching a bunch of so called footballers who can't string more than two passes together without gifting the ball to the opposition. It's now time for the spineless manager to drop Madine and try something new!! and don't tell us that ...

Re: Does Parky have the Balls to find a winning recipe? Bolton v Norwich 4/11/217
Great result against a side who's away form was better than their home. We could see why their star forward Jerome hadn't scored in fifteen game. Thought Alnwick played his part in that victory and the rest of the team couldn't be faulted. We've hit a decent run of form but, cannot defend for the en...

Last three games we have dropped six points from winning positions, it's an improvement from the early games but something needs to be done with that defence.

Re: Scary movie; The race to the bottom; Sunderland v Bolton 31/10/2017
There's a Sunderland fan in our family who tells us Sunderland are one poor side. Well fear not, Bolton are the typical charity boys who will probably gift them the points. I wont even be bothering listening Jack Deardens scary Halloween commentary but, instead be watching Sky sports results as they...

If Madine's the only hope then we have none. Parkinson is as stubborn as a mule and needs to change it. What do you suggest that he does? How many games does Parkinson need to realise his system isn't working. I have simply had enough of watching the same week in week out, not only at home but away...

All we can do is hope. But, at least try something new, give Le Fondre a game at the expense of Madine because he wont score goals.

Re: Jumping through hoops to whack the boys from the bush? - Bolton v QPR 21/10/217
Despite terrible weather conditions we have become too predictable. As much as Madine works hard he isn't scoring goals which as a centre forwards he's supposed to do. Time for a change because each game has become so laborious. About time Le Fondre started a game in an effort to try something diffe...

Re: Footballers Autobiographies
Jason McAteer's book is well worth a read and quite funny in parts. He does have fond memories of Bolton which is well documented in the book. Is it worth a read? It's up to the individual but I'd say yes.

I've read quite a few, some are quite interesting others are dull. Last one I read was Jason Mcateers, there's no way he wrote that.

Bloody hell "Tango dancer" that's a blast from the deepest past? Happy Wanderer etc etc was always bellowing out to a mere few thousand back in those days in the late 60s. Later we had the Burnden beat which played up to date tunes. I have both the songs mentioned "My world is a football was on an a...

Why once again does Parkinson persist with Madine and no Le Fondre? For gods sake if it doesn't work change it. I'm losing faith with this guy now.
