Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

A lot of writing which says nothing at all. What are the sayings.."Actions speak louder than words" ?. " Honesty is the best policy" etc,etc...If ever either was needed it's surely now. Reality is that he can't be completely honest. But he's spinning everything like Donald Trump. His attacks on the...

Re: General Chit Chat

Just a bit weirded out by the tone of your response, to be honest. Are you drunk again, or is your period? Generally wasn't expecting an aggressive response to an innocent story I started out by explaining what the dutch branch of our company does, then said what we do in Manchester as a comparison....

Over here, we leg it to a sandwich shop, or fast food place, wolf it down and get back to our desks - It's not healthy at all That's very stereotypically bullshit of you. My ex-employer trucked in free (as in you didn't pay for it) fruit and veg at the beginning of each week. There was, also, no ti...

Re: General Chit Chat

We're headquartered out of Rotterdam and in the Netherlands, there is some sort of Social Food pre-tax allowance thingy available to businesses and employees - Basically, they take money out of your salary (if you agree to it) which increases your personal allowance, so the €40 or so per month, work...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

I really don't know what to make of it all. As a freelancer, I'm always paid late. I just crack on. I don't like seeing these eye-catching headlines all over the place about our players wanting to move on. It just makes us look bad and I hate that. URGH. When on a contract you should be paid on tim...

Prisons in some countries are so bad, they cannot be staffed. People will not work there and the inmates are practically left to rot. They STILL commit crimes, knowing what the punishment will look like. Some criminals are just inhumane, braindead superbastards and the potential punishments won't s...

You can;t just blame Sky - It's the sports governing bodies who are selling TV rights off to the highest bidders who are the problem - Sky just have deeper pockets than the BBC

I think changes are needed. We can't play at any form of intensity 3 games every 7 days for the next month or so.

If he doesn't make changes and we suffer in the latter parts of games (even more), then he's in for it

I must say it seems blindingly obvious to me that Greenpeace are a political organisation. Not party political, or parliamentary political, bit definitely political. I also think their work and aims are clearly good and worthy, but the point of these rules is that there is no judgement about the wo...

"Short of viable candidates"

I'd say "complete absence of viable candidates" applies to the Tories - Not so much Labour, who have a few, but due to the current thirst for extreme leftism the viable ones won't be on the table

Thanks pru for saying you don't go. If I didn't go, wasn't a STH I might be able to turn a blind eye and forget about it and say on to the next match. But I can't justify paying and having to go and watch the dire negative games each time and knowing when and not if the opposition scores, usually w...

Personally I'd stick almost no matter what. I think last year was a borderline miracle
With the points we finished on and winning only 1 of our last 7 games, I agree!
